  6 dias en Parkhotel.

  Estuvimos en Agosto en Parkhotel en un habitación standard la habitación es amplia y muy bien. El desayuno regular el café mal de maquina, y la cena esta muy bien hemos cenado 2 veces en el hotel hay un menú y esta muy bien.El personal correcto.y amable.La piscina bien y sauna también.El parking algo caro. Pero si vuelvo a Valkenburg repito el hotel.

  Disappointing, complacent management and most staff follow suit

  Booked for 2 nights and had it been longer would have cancelled, our room on the ground floor looked out onto scaffolding cable and tarpaulin. The room was basic and wifi non existent. We complained about the wifi at 10pm and we were told this was all that was possible, we in the next evening at reception voiced our unhappiness at the room given and no prior notice given despite the hotel knowing our email in advance regarding the overall hotel exterior only to be told that a notice was on the hotel website. This sums up the attitude of the hotel management which filters down through the staff, it is not acceptable to claim a notice on a website is sufficient. The only positive we can give is the breakfast staff where efficient and friendly and the spa facilities are good. It is not a 4 star hotel and in its present condition is only worth 2 star.

  Vary bad experience ever with a hotel , there are no words for this

  Unseen how bad the hotel treats his gasts, the management of this hotel treats his gast as dirt. Once they have your money in their pocket, they have totally no interest anymore in his gasts. It's incomprehensible.

  Great value, friendly staff, lovely food, comfy room and super location!!

  Can't say this about every hotel, but every single staff member we met during a wekend stay were very friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible - a real highlight of our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant and were blown away by the value and quality. The three course menu was excellent value with plenty of choice and we had oysters (small extra cost) before our starters as an extra treat. Being somewhat of oyster aficionado, I was delighted at the taste and freshness and enjoyed a glass of the suggested chablis which was a perfect match. Starters of Vitello Tonnato and bouillabaisse were prepared simply but also looked and tasted great. For mains, I had a succulent steak (appreciated the choice of a small rather than standard large steak!!) and my partner had the whole lobster (extra cost) - both were excellent as were the desserts. Afterwards, we retired to our room with a nightcap and really appreciated the space and comfort. The bed was soft yet very comfortable and we woke up fresh and well rested although I usually prefer a harder mattress. I mentioned this at check-out and was told the mattress had been recently been replaced with a new box-spring version - they certainly chose well :-) My partner availed of the sauna and swimming pool which were almost empty due to the booking system necessitated by the Corona precautions which were also evident throughout the hotel in an understated but effective manner. The breakfast room is bright and airy and the on-site chef prepared our eggs exactly as we like them. Despite being full when we arrived down, we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. This was probably due to increased space between tables as a safety precaution. The hotel staff were able to provide plenty of ideas for things to do in Valkenburg and surrounding area. The centre of Valkenburg itself is only a short walk from the hotel which saved time & parking costs.

  Very nice

  It is a lovely place with a bit of that "old glory" vibe I find really appealing. The hotel was comfortable and ideally located at walking distance from the city center. The staff was efficient and friendly. All in all a very nice experience.
