  Work Trip

  was here for a work trip. hotel is nice, rooms are large, food was decent and hot; plenty of options. my room was in the older part of the hotel which according to my team was much nicer than the newer part of the hotel.

  Good business hotel

  Stayed here for a couple of weeks whilst on business in the area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful but their English is limited so some understanding of German would be a plus. The hotel is charming with a central garden and nice terrace. My room was a double room on the upper floor looking over the garden it was spacious, clean and practical. Breakfast was very nice with a good buffet with local delicacies etc. I also visited the restaurant on numerous occasions and the service and food here are also good. All in all a good experience so if your looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the area I would recommend staying at the Park Hotel Unter Den Linden.

  Room not as booked

  On arrival there was no record of the booking we had made several months ago via booking.com. The lady on reception was very helpful and could speak some English, after some checks she said they only had single rooms available (we are a couple) We looked at the room, although fairly small the bed was wide enough but obviously set up as a single with just one pillow and single size duvet. She brought extra towels immediately and said she would provide the extra pillow later. We ate in the restaurant which was fine. On return to the room the extra pillow had been provided but no extra duvet, but as it was a hot night it didn't really matter. On check out there was a different lady on reception, we were charged the price we were quoted when we booked. I had thought as we had been given an inferior room that the charge would have been a bit less, but as we can't speak much German we just paid it and left. Apart from these issues it is a lovely building in a pleasant location with free street parking outside.

  I loved my stay here!

  Wonderful hotel, good beds, top breakfast serviceminded and nice staff! They were very helpful when I couldn't get hold of a taxi to catch my train, they drove me themselves. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  Night mare

  I have arrived to hotel and checked in till this moment all was fine then i have found a black widow spider in my room just near the bed. Those types of spiders are poisonous. I have asked hotel reception lady to change my room but she refused then someone came claimed to be a manager start shouting and asking me to leave the hotel. I was shocked as i was looking for a solution and donot want a headche .This hotel is a nightmare . The lady was polite but the manager was extremly rude and non professional. Then he called the police which did nothing more than asking me to claim this with the booking company and leave the hotel . I donot recommend this hotel to anyone
