  In need if refit

  Its pretty run down and in need of refitting. The photos on both the website and on booking.com do not reflect the reality of the place and the rooms All the glassware had to be re-washed before use. The bathroom is pretty dated, especially the shower, some of the amenities were either empty or missing entirely. Some of the tvs are digital/smart, others arent. The fridge was really worn and had a large sticker on it from the 2000 Sydney Olympics, so that is a dead give away on how little they care about presenting a modern image. The floor I was staying on had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. I was in town for my wedding on the Friday, however, I was unable to have a late check out (in-spite of asking for one, and in spite of booking.com saying you can have a late check-out until 4pm) without having to fork out for another nights stay. I told them all of our guests to stay at the hotel as it was close to where our wedding was. Absolutely zero flexibility on behalf of the hotel. I had to move all my stuff early as it was a 10am check out. I wouldnt recommend staying here. * unfortunately it appears thr hotel is being a bit mischievously dishonest in their reply: - I was never offered a late check out without having to pay another full night. I was never offered a discount at all. This is patently untrue. I emailed the hotel prior to my stay and received no response. Upon check in I was again told I could not get a late check out and was told I would have to pay another nights stay. - I had to wash the glassware myself prior to use as they were filthy. As was the glassware in other guests rooms. -There was most certainly a guest on my floor smoking as the hallway reeked of cigarettes.

  Excellent stay

  The staff at Park Regis were wonderful, particularly Rob on reception. He took my late booking I made at short notice on a Friday evening and was so helpful. He went above and beyond to help me. The room was comfortable, clean and had a lovely view. I would recommend Park Regis, it's in a great local. I didn't have a car but public transport is literally out the front door.

  Comfortable and convenient

  We stayed here twice recently whilst renovating our home nearby. Although now getting a little dated, the accommodation is clean and comfortable, with a very adequate supply of kitchen facilities and utensils at an extremely reasonable price. It is extremely well located - in the middle of the Cremorne Town Centre, above a supermarket and other shops, in an area with plenty of cafes and restaurants and immediately adjacent to the bus stop for buses to the city - and rooms have excellent views. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the only criticism is the excessive cost of parking guest parking.

  Great

  Although its situated on main road noise level was zero, Walking distance to most things Rooms where clean n neat , the lock up car park great value with a great view of Sydney , the staff were so friendly and helpful , we would definitely stay there again

  Excellent service

  There was a problem with our room. We were advised before we arrived and offered a suitable alternative. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Even when we forgot our key, arrived home after midnight, and had to wake the night manager we were met with a smile. The room was nothing special but it was clean and comfortable and well located. The service is what would bring us back.
