  Gran ubicación hotel mediocre

  Muy bien ubicado frente al West Lake, se mantiene silencioso y tranquilo. El hotel tiene sus años y no ha sido renovado, pero sigue estando muy limpio y ordenado. A mi juicio el personal es poco calificado para un hotel de 5 estrellas y en general no es amable. me parece que el precio es alto para la que uno recibe. Pero es el precio que hay que pagar por la ubicación . otros 5 estrellas de la zona no son mejores.

  Park Hyatt Resort by a lake

  I recently spent the weekend at Park Hyatt Resort & Spa near Ningbo. The resort is located a 40 minute drive from the city center. The hotel is designed like a fishing village intersected by waterways. The room I was assigned was facing the lake directly behind the pier. It featured an oversized bath tub, steam room, rain shower, bed-, living- and dining room. The hotel offers thrice daily sightseeing boat tours on the lake. The same boats are also available for rent to conduct dining cruises. From the original fishing village which the hotel replaced, only two buildings remain, the tea house and Red, which today hosts the bar and theatre where Chinese operas are being performed. The spa is spread over several pavilions, each of which come with an outdoor sunken stone bath, sauna, rain shower, changing room, toilet, entertainment and treatment room. I enjoyed my second massage in China an was impressed with the therapists skills. Seafood House is the fine dining restaurant focusing on seafood, which in addition to the main dining room has several private pavilions of different sizes to accommodate different group sizes. I enjoyed a variety of seafood courses accompanied by champagne and wine. The service was seamless. The Dining Room offers breakfast and dinner while the Living Room offers lunch, as does the Tea House, which also provided snacks. The hotel was almost fully occupied, yet, thanks to the vast size of the grounds other than at breakfast one saw rarely any other guests, which went well withdrew serenity of the property. The gym featured a full set of LifeFitness equipment as well as and indoor and outdoor pool. The staff was very attentive throughout, attempting to foresee any wish. The hotel has bicycles available for guests to cycle around the lake. This is in my list for my next stay at the property.

  Im disrupted by Ningbo Park Hyatt

  If you expect Park hotel, this should not be on your destination. The environment near hotel is under construction, and the smell from river made you cannot breath. It may take one hour waiting outside restaurant in the morning. Believe it or not, one hour is normal in the morning between 8:30-9:50. I wont take breakfast, its nightmare! The swimming pool is full of children and their parents, shouting, crying without ending. Unless you go to early morning, but you will take risk to miss breakfast seat. The room, its called executive room, one bath only provide cool water, air condition its work, one light is dark. I have to ask engineer repaired in several times. The service, you dont believe, no operator answer your call, it rings two minutes before you give up finally. Nobody collected room service dishes when its time to go to bed. The manager always selected answer your inquiries in WeChat, although he/she had read all messages. This is not Park Hyatt as youve known Park brand before.

  The perfect fusion of architecture and natural landscape

  The polite hotel staff and warm and thoughtful service. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are also very goodHowever, the construction near the hotel in the middle of the night affected sleep.The hotel staff also solved the problem in time

  Fabulous / Recommend in Strongest Terms

  Took the family here for 5 nights over Christmas and love it here. I highly recommend it - both the hardware and software are top notch. The property itself is gorgeous right on a lake. Nice gardens for walking on the property itself. There is a massive construction pit right next door that is an eye sore but didn't bother us from where our room was. I'm in an executive suite which seems to be around 130 sqm. Very well appointed and decorated nicely. It's luxurious but comfortable at the same time. I consider it stunning. If you can swing it, definitely book an Executive Suite. There's a steamroom in the master bathroom which is better than the PH Istanbul one that everyone raves about. The room is 1 million times nicer than PH Istanbul. Le Labo toiletries which I like and 5100 Tibet water. My room has 6 coffee pods and wide ranging tea for free. It took me a 3 1/2 hour drive from Shanghai. I don't know how it could be done in 2 1/2 hrs unless you live at the absolute outskirt of SH. Road of course goes over the world's longest bridge which is fun. Easy to drive to. Good roads. Gym has 26 kg dumbells and kettle balls. No barbell but gym is good. I take exercise fairly seriously and the gym is good enough for a real workout. The spa area is great with a jacuzzi. I went there every day after the gym and rested. Water at the right temperature. Food is good quality but a little expensive (300 rmb for a beef salad) but there's nothing else around here. One can order via Ele.Me but we haven't tried. We've eaten every meal on property. I'm fine w prices as it is a Park Hyatt but be aware there are no cheap food choices. It's like eating at 3 on the Bund every meal, maybe even more. But the food quality is excellent, both the Chinese and western choices. I pay attention to health and food quality and the food here is good. Overall, the service was wonderful, especially in the restaurants. The team went out of their way to take care of my family. Housekeeping was also good. I highly recommend this property. I'll definitely come back
