  Good in bad weather, nightmare in good weather

  We actually booked this hotel twice on our way to Slovenia. When we arrived on our way there (it had been raining all day), we we very happy. Room big enough, bathroom small, but contained all necessities. Breakfast in the morning was okay, freshly baked buns. Staff friendly. No complaints. So we were actually happy to go there again on our way home. Temperatures were up to 28 degrees that day however. When we decided to have dinner on the hotel patio, I must honestly say dinner itself was good, but we were attacked by so many mosquitos, it was utterly unpleasant. After a very uncomfortable night, no airconditioning in a hot room (luckily NO mosquitos) and a squeeky fan, we were looking forward to breakfast. But the breakfast room again was also full of mosquitos, so we made breakfast as short as possible to get back on the road. The problem with the mosquitos might not be entirely the hotels fault, but if we had known beforehand, we would not have stayed there during hot weather period.

  Great value for money

  A family trip to Playmobile fun park. Excellent location, clean spacious and comfortable room with excellent en suite facilities. Good food, nice cosy restaurant, excellent continental style breakfast included in the price. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Angelica. Will return on our next visit to Playmobile.

  Friendly staff

  We stayed here for a day trip to the playmobil funpark. The staff was very accommodating and provided us with an extra bed for our 3 year old son even though our room officially didn't have room for it. We dined here twice and as always its the service that matters most when you dine and they were very helpful and kind. We travelled with two small kids and there is a small playground next to the hotel and a bigger one 200 meters down the road. The only problem for me personally was that the bed had bad pillows... But a good place to stay for a family with small kids.

  Nice location

  This is a slightly old, run down hotel at the edge of the forest beautiful location and very nice outdoor seating during summer. Rooms are spacious but old fashioned. Service is friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is very good. Free & fast internet access. All in all a nice economic option but average place.

  Christmas visit

  An excellent place to book a room. Very friendly employees. The rooms were perfect and very clean. The breakfast was very good.definetly value for money. Even if it's not in Nurnberg it's so close that it doesn't make any difference. I would recommend to anyone that a has a car.
