  buenas vistas hacia Veliko Tarnovo

  Posee buen restaurante y terraza con vistas hacia Veliko Tarnovo, sólo éste hotel y otros 2 (mucho mas caros) tienen estas vistas dentro de Arbanassi. El desayuno es tipo buffet pero no muy apetecible, sin embargo el restaurante sí que tiene buenos platos. Habitaciones modernas y reformadas, más nuevas que en otros hoteles de igual categoría

  Genial

  Muy agradable, el entorno muy bonito, tranquilo (a pesar de que nos tocó una celebración tipo boda), con el spa abierto de 10 a 19h y gratuito, área para los pequeños, muy cerca de Veliko Tarnovo (de los lugares más bonitos y con mejores compras de Bulgaria). El personal muy atento, tratando de aportar. La cena en el hotel estupenda, de precio un poco más que en otros sitios pero merece la pena: muy buen cocinado, buenos productos, buena atención El desayuno es tipo bufet, muy del estilo a los demás sitios. La habitación era grande (íbamos 4 personas en la suite y teníamos dos baños amplios, dos camas grandes y dos individuales), limpia, con bonitas vistas. La calefacción regulable. De volver por la zona, repetiremos.

  Awful

  The positive, lovely views. The negative, everything else. We arrived after a long journey from England having got up at 4am, flown to Sofia and then travelled by hire car to Arbanasi. On arrival we met the receptionist and asked if we could have some assistance with our luggage as we had a toddler and three suitcases. She pointed behind us and said, Theres the lift. Although booking a junior suite, the place was Spartan. Drab wallpaper, no pictures or ornaments and when I used the shower, the shower head fell off. At first they told us they would fix it in the morning but after insisting, they did manage to fix it that night which was to their credit. In the morning we were awoken by building works. We had heard there might be building works so had asked the hotel staff before arrival if there were any. We were told there were none. We had also asked my mother-in-law who was in Bulgaria to check for us before we arrived. She went at the weekend (when work presumably stops) and was told there were no building works. We went to breakfast. We were ignored by the staff on arriving so found a table for ourselves. The food was terrible. The scrambled eggs were cold and inedible. There were only a few pieces of white bread, some honey and jam, some pink grapefruit, some cereal, but no milk or bowls. Asking for the latter two was met with complete shock by the staff that anyone could ask for anything. There was some meat and cheese but it was curling at the edges. We managed to pour some coffee from the reluctant machine but my wife made the mistake of asking for sugar and a sachet was thrown at her. My wife also asked if there was any other fruit for our toddler. Eventually it was agreed to give her an apple but the Waitress made it plain she would not deliver it to our table but would tell us when it was available so we could fight for it at the buffet. We returned to our room hungry and packed and left having paid for only one night which we thought was very generous on our part. We will never visit there again and it amuses us that there are any positive reviews. It is only a three star hotel but we do wonder what criteria is used to give it any stars!

  Reasonable hotel for lot of people

  I know this hotel for 3 years but construction works are still undergoing and this makes noises during the day. The room was good and clean, with a perfect Tsarevec monument view and a cozy terrace. The breakfast was good for all guests. SPA is too small and if you want should ask to switch on the sauna. The room walls are fair and I could listen what are people from next door laughing or speaking. Hope the construction works will finish soon. Problem with parking- there is not enough places for even half of the guests. Overall I recommend the hotel for one or two days stay.

  My experience

  I am impressed by the staff. The manager of the restaurant- Rosica is very friendly, helpful and fast. The food is delicious and the view is stunning. Rooms are big and clean. Receptionists are very helpful and polite.
