  Hidden natural paradise

  The hotel is modest but clean and has everything that you need for a pleasant stay. Anyway, something more luxurious would not be in line with the beautiful and wild surrounding nature. The food is delicious in its simple way, offering also some local specialties, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is close to the main road to the Adriatic coast and yet somehow isolated from the civilization. There are also a lot of interesting things to be seen around like wine cellars, horse riding, ancient history cites etc. Recommended for nature lovers.

  Nature reserve

  This place is as close as one can get to nature reserve hotel. There is forest all around it and there is no traffic nearby which is a perfect thing to have a get away holiday. In warmer seasons you can even go inside nature reserve which is not close, but all around it. The swam there and the lake are in fact one of biggest if not the biggest natural getaway for birds in whole Europe with over 200 birds living there and even more of them stopping there while traveling to warmer parts of world. It's just enchanting and calming place to see... And in fact it hosted World Championship in Sport Fishing in 2007, so I'd say it's worth a visit if you are in this country.

  Great local food restaurant

  Traditional local food served, fresh and very tasty. Reccommended restaurant in nature that should be more cultivated. Small kids playing area outdoors very appreciated! The terrace is very spacious and funky and the staff is nice.

  Good location but needs renovation

  We really enjoyed being at the reserve, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the room was way overdue for an update. The carpet was torn and stained, and it didnt feel very clean. The sheets are weirdly scratchy and we could smell cigarette smoke coming into the room from the restaurant downstairs. We tried to spend as little time in the room as possible. Sadly, the reserve had piles of trash overflowing at all the trashcansthis is such a neat place but did not seem well cared for... hopefully this was not the normal situation. I dont think there are any better hotel options nearby though, and definitely nothing else at the reserve, so we are glad we stayed there. The restaurant food was pretty good, the house red wine excellent, the outdoor area pleasant, and the waiter great.
