  Sin agua caliente 12 de los catorce dias que estuvimos alojados

  Yo no recomiendo a nadie este hotel. La limpieza escasa, tres pisos sin ascensor, los recepcionistas desagradables pero lo peor de todo fue el estar sin agua caliente casi toda la estancia. Y cuando bajamos a comunicarlo a recepcion despues de la primera noche su contestacion fue que a veces hay y a veces no, que cuando se acaban los depositos de agua caliente se acabaron....Vergonzosooooooooooooooo!!!!

  Fantastic cheap holiday

  We travelled to Continental with Balkan, a company we hadnt used before. When we arrived at 3pm, a boy offered to help us with our bags. We were in 383, walking to the rooms, it does look a little like a prison block or butlins, this wasnt an issue for though, as were not the type to stay in our hotel room. We were pleasantly surprised when entering, we had an amazing pool view, clean room, shower was hot and powerful, clean towels. We had beers and food at the pool bar on a daily basis, a pint of beer was 2lev (about £1.70) and I had cocktails, 6lev. There were pancakes, burgers, pizzas and chips available for a cheap price too. The staff were pleasant and helpful, I think you get back what you give, tipping a very little and being happy is always a plus. We headed to Sunny Beach which is a 5 minute walk, it was beautiful! It gets really busy but has a great atmosphere. We decided to go B&B as we like to eat out, there was plenty of restaurants, Id recommend mamacitas mexican! Avoid the restaurant opposite the hotel, corner bar I think it was called, rude staff and very unhygienic! I would strongly recommend heading to Nessebar, it took 10 minutes on the bus and was 2lev 60 for the two of us, the buses ran every 10 minutes. Theres some beautiful places to eat and drink and some shops to have a peruse! You can also get the land train and boat to Nessebar from Sunny beach, but we just wanted quick and cheap! In terms of the hotel, breakfast was fine. Im not sure what some people expect, but there was bread/toast, honey, Nutella, jams, scrambled eggs, bacon/hot dogs, mushrooms, fresh fruit, cheeses, fizzy drinks and cordials. There was only one day we struggled slightly for a sun bed, but it was because we didnt head out till 11am. The pool closes at 6pm which was a shame, just an hour longer would be perfect, the pools are great, clean, and big. There are plenty of supermarkets around with in 5 minute walking distance. Overall, I couldnt fault the hotel or the breakfast, or Bulgaria its self (albeit, some Bulgarians can be quite rude and blunt). Remember you get what you pay for, I think some people are expecting 5* luxury for 2* cost!

  Fabulous

  We stayed here for 2 weeks. We had a fabulous time. All hotel staff are very friendly and willing to help you. Rooms are a great size and have air con, fridge etc. There are lots of local supermarkets within walking distance too. All very cheap. Local beer prices range from 1 lev to 3.50 lev . We would definitely come back again.

  fabulous pool!!

  this hotel is very dated but clean . rooms are basic with balconys but our view to pool was restricted by overgrown trees which spoiled it a bit..good television signal..hubby watched all the English football matches which was the highlight of his week!! lol .the air con in the room was an absolute blessing!! really easy to use and a good cool blast from it!! brilliant!! pool area and pool are the best things about this hotel by far!! fabulous size pool with added kids area, lovely swim up pool bar and brilliant snack bar where a burger and chips is 7 lev ( 3.50) good portions.. they also sell pizzas, chicken burgers, hot dogs, and pancakes. in y opinion this is where the best food is served because the food in restaurant is just basic ..same everyday except stringy bacon one day them frankfurter sausages the next! toaster is slow, only 2 choices of fresh fruit( apples and plums) yoghurt was watery, not nice, right now the worst things about this hotel are the staff!! staff are abrupt, rude, aggressive at times, they ignored you when you said hello.no smiles, nothing.. they all could do with an intensive course in customer service!! the only exception to this were the lovely cleaners that were cheerful and polite and said "good morning" to you when they passed you ....the cleaners put the other staff to shame!! I would stay at this hotel again but only if the staff were sorted!! just a reminder ..no kettles in room so if you want a tea/coffee the little supermarket just down from hotel has a vending machine where a cuppa is 30p..

  went solo to a visit my daughter who works there

  my a daughter has lived and a worked there for 4 yrs now this was my a 2nd holiday at continental I'm a love a it staff are amazin clean rooms lovly pool poold bar lubo Mario and life guard are amazing bar nino is a great barman also in the small bar underneath lotus resturant is my a favourite it's amazin my girl works in viking bar it's for all you a young folks but also a welcome us more mature I should know tank you bulgaria for an amazing holiday and looking after my a butiful daughter karumba Scotland
