Ski week in Val Di FassaWe have just returned from a lovely family ski week in Hotel Rubino. Spa and pool facilities were very good and enjoyed by our 7, 11 and 13 year olds. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and staff very accommodating. Our family rooms were a reasonable size with good facilities. Breakfast, buffet style had everything we wanted. The evening meals were mixed and not always a great choice for children who mainly chose pasta with tomato sauce. A buffet option for mains would have been useful together with a tap water option at dinner. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if visiting this resort.

Top Hotel with amazing staff and fine foodWe stayed 7 days in Hotel Rubino. It is the closest one to the cable car, 150 m, perfect for ski. The staff is always smiling from the hart and willing to help. Mr. Fabricio, the manager is always there for you, for small and big things. The food was delicious so we did not went out to the outside restaurants even once. The chef have very good hand and very big warm hart. The room was neat and clean with beautiful view of the cliff. We will visit again.

We loved our stay here at the Hotel RubinoWe felt thoroughly cosseted, we were here to relax and we loved the leisurely breakfast buffet every morning and then enjoyed a days skiing in this fantastic area. We use the spa at the end of every other day - it is excellent - so soothing after a days skiing. The pool is warm and the hot tub IS very hot and bubbly, the sauna and star room are also fabulous. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Our room was beautiful. The portions at dinner are very generous, we enjoyed the salad buffet starter and tried to pick lighter choices for a main and there was a fantastic array of puddings. To miss the lift queue in the morning, we headed up at 10am, or you can get there early at 8.30am - one day we arrived at 9am and it was a bit of a wait! The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Family ski holidayStayed with Crystal ski holidays at the Rubino hotel. It was fantastic from beginning to end. The service, food, staff, and excellent pool and wellness area were fantastic. We brought my mum with us, who could only ski for short periods, so having a comfy and pleasant hotel was essential. 5 * in all aspects.

Lovely Hotel in The DolomitesHotel Rubino offered the most spacious rooms we have ever stayed in on a ski holiday and I suspect this is because it is also popular during the Summer months with hill walkers etc. and is not solely reliant upon ski business. After a day on the slopes it is always nice to relax in a hot bath and there was always plenty of hot water to enable me to do so. Continental Breakfast - plenty of choice from the buffet and we were never disappointed. Evening Meal - First course was from the buffet which consisted of a variety of salad type offerings, cured meats, fish, cheeses etc. i.e. typical antipasti. There followed a pasta dish or soup then the main course and dessert. Each evening we were given the opportunity to choose for the following evening and the meals never once disappointed - the food was delicious. There was also a fairly good wine list and we paid 17 for a very nice Sauvignon Blanc. The table staff, the lady behind reception and the barman through in the main bar deserve special mention as nothing was too much trouble and they were eager to please. From the hotel to the main cable car station was a good 5-10 minute walk each morning. Unfortunately, the queues were horrendous each day and it was at least an hour from the hotel until we were actually on the piste. If I ever visited this area during the Summer months I would not hesitate to return to the Hotel Rubino.
