  Dinner in the garden

  After biking all day the Sellaronda I was craving a complete meal. The staff graciously made space for me even though I wasn't a guest. Excellent 4 course meal. Each course was a meal in itself. The sausage was the best Ive tasted. There was salad with vegetables and beans. Highly recommended if you're a vegetarian. The wait staff is extra friendly and speaks English very well.

  Food is quite special, sometines too small portions and missing the pasta before Marcialonga. Ran out of wine and beer. Lot's of caos around a bottle of wine that should be kept from one day to the next.

  experience is worse than what ratings suggest

  We spent 8 days at the hotel, around the new year 2018/2019. Our experience was very different than what the ratings suggest. Hotel is clean and the rooms/beds are ok, but the food is somewhere between mediocre and awful in general, and in no way is this a great vegetarian or vegan hotel. Our impression is that the hotel does not cook but rather buys pre-prepared food and then only warms it up. Consequently, the meals lack taste and you will be served anything between dried out, due to too long warming up, and cold. Same goes for the breakfast, where the choice is poor, regardless of whether you want healthy or regular food. I also don't know where they get their scrambled eggs, but those are kind of awful too. The hotel also seems to be heavily understaffed, so that the service in the common area or in the bar area is poor to non-existent. After the food experience during the first few days, we decided to eat out every day. Cavalese has some great places, presumably also much better places to stay. Summarized, this might have been the worst price value ratio in our travel history, and we travel a lot.

  As always very good. Very nice People and service, relaxed and good atmosphere. Clean and nice rooms. Perfect placed according to Marcialonga. The only thing yhat can be imporved a bit are the Food. But overall very good! Looking forward to see you Next year!

  Amazing vacation in Cavalese!
