Not badMe and my wife stayed here for one night, check in was fast enough the staff are nice and friendly. We had a room on the first floor in the middle,no view just a brick wall and roof tiles, disappointed, the room was clean tho ironing board iron tea and coffee nice shower, the bed had a spring stuck out that my wife caught her leg on,no injury we just told the staff when we checked out and they apologised, fair enough. The only other negative with the room is you can hear everything going on next door, one side a woman was constantly laughing the other side a couple arguing, entertaining but Id prefer the peace and quiet. The breakfast wasnt great, cheap produce, the toast tasted awful, for the money it was ok for the night just a shame about the view and paper thin walls, skip the breakfast. The lad who served it was spot on tho . Last picture is the tray of food left on the landing from when we checked in till we left.

Wedding - Not how I was expecting the service to be.My (now) wife and I booked Ramada, Park Hall in Feb 2019 for our wedding. We were due to get married in April 2020 (civil ceremony - 50 guests & Hindu ceremony - 300 guests), but due to COVID-19, we re-booked and got married in Nov 2020 with 15 guests for both ceremonies. I hope to give a holistic approach to our experience, so please do take a moment to read through. Sales - Great. Aftersales/customer services - Very poor Director - Shocking and very rude (please see point 4). On the day - Positive feedback from guests We liked Ramada as a venue due to the open space in The Ballroom and grounds. We researched a number of venues within the Midlands and Ramada suited our needs. The communication from the sales team was timely, prompt and a good experience... We signed the contract! The aftersales went downhill! We were informed that the planning team would make contact six months prior to our wedding, however, we were going to be abroad so made contact earlier re a series of questions, but were informed that the questions would be discussed at the six month meeting. We had to make contact again to chase up the meeting at six months and thereon... 1. We weren't informed that our wedding planner had left the business until we recieved an auto reply from their email after trying to chase up the meeting. 2. We were getting passed from pillar to post via email and/or when we made phone calls to speak to someone, being advised that someone would be in touch. 3. We made a formal complaint to the then co-director and explained that we had no communication, with our wedding four months away (Hindu weddings are a big affair and so much planning to them - a lot of which we needed to check with the venue). We were informed that we would get a reduced rate by the co-director, who was a really nice person and took the time to listen to us. He had left Ramada at some stage after. 4. We started having contact in Dec 2019 after our complaint, with our wedding in April 2020. COVID restrictions came in three weeks before our wedding and I received two very rude & abrupt call from the director, who stated that we had money outstanding and we could not book a new date until this money was paid. I explained my experiences and dealings with the co-director and remained calm and collective on the TWO calls recieved where the director was shouting down the phone to me and calling me a liar. She stated that the person wasn't the 'co-director' and did not work for her anymore (It said a lot about her speaking so ill about others). I informed her that I would be refusing to speak to her, to which she said she would tell all her staff that only she was to deal with me. The outstanding balance was paid and we rebooked our new date with a new package (with no further dealings directly with the director), to which we were informed that we would get a partial refund, due to it being a cheaper package. It seemed as though this money was being held against the new date even though we had signed a new contract (meaning we should have got our refund at point of new contract), as I was first informed that refunds were being processed at the end of Oct and then informed I would get my money the end of Nov, whilst being told something else by the lady in accounts. Therefore having to wait one month after my wedding until I received my refund. Our guests praised the coordinators who were there on the day who assisted in any issues or concerns. We had only met them the week before the wedding and went through the plans, which I ensured we sorted ourselves as the trust & confidence in Ramada was nil. Throughout the year and half, since time of booking, staff were getting our names wrong or mixed up and often asking us to confirm the date of our wedding - I found this quite unprofessional as we were paying a premium for a service which we didn't wholly receive. Throughout dealing with Ramada, we were being told one thing, which would then change to another. I would then ensure communication was documented via email and attended meetings having conducted research. With my wife and I both working for the emergency services throughout the pandemic, we just wanted to get the wedding over and done with, especially with the appauling experience we had. I had made a five page document outlining the issues and poor experience received over the course of the year and half. It was a real shame that we both felt that we weren't looking forward to our big day, because of our dealings and experiences with Ramada. We are now glad that it is over and done with (sadly). As the saying goes, you may not remember what someone said, but you will remember how they made you feel. * Please note, decor was done by our own supplier *

WeddingThank you so much for making my dream wedding happen. We thought it would be a bit spoilt by all the restrictions but this was great! You and your team were so understanding and respectful to my family. You made it feel like home. I can't thank you enough. Your personality is amazing and you make me feel like we are related. I loved everything about Sunday. You all worked so hard. Please pass on my thanks to everyone there - Anita and Martijn Kleinsmann

Wedding Celebrations 2019We had a fantastic team to help plan my dream spring wedding for May 2019. However due to the current situation we had to postpone to the fall. Miss Angela (The Director) was extremely flexible about changing the dates of our wedding a few times and preliminary booked two new dates until we finalised. There were so many restrictions and changes leading up to our wedding but Vinit (Hotel Manager) and the team had been so helpful in guiding us through this difficult and stressful time. We managed to go ahead with a small intimate wedding. Both our families were very impressed with how our reception was organised from the food, decor, music and the attentive service we received especially on the day. We had strict covid secure rules to follow including temperature checks, track and trace details of all guests, hand gel placed in all areas, toilets regularly checked and sanitised. We got to use the outdoor space for our cake cutting ceremony which was a beautiful moment and personally overseen by Vinit the Hotel Manager. We very much look forward to our main wedding reception this year, all subject to how things unfold with covid as the safety of our family and friends is extremely important to me and my husband. I can happily say we are in safe hands with the team at Ramada Park Hall as they have been understanding and supportive throughout these unprecedented times. Amiee
