  A good 4 star hotel

  We' ve been there in august 2011. Less than exécted: friendliness of front desk staff, we didn't feel a profissional service, but a familiar service. Very small room. Not so good food at the restaurant (lunch, dinne or breakfast). Very small and simple spa. I thinf we pay for a 5 star hotel and were in a good (not very good) four star hotel. Too much money and not too much service and confort.

  Excelente en todo

  Un hotel q les permite caminar todo el centro de Praga, esta muy bien ubicado y la atención es muy buena y amable. El desayuno es súper bueno y las habitaciones del hotel de estilo muy antiguo pero muy bien decoradas, recién estuvimos con mi esposa allí y nos encanto el hotel. Están a menos de 10 min caminando de la torre del reloj y de ahí al puente Carlos no más de 5 min a pie y pausado. Los taxis del centro al aeropuerto les sale no más de 650 coronas checas , 26 euros más o menos, ojo por favor con las casa de cambio del centro ya q tienen en sus pantallas que cambian 25,5 coronas por euros, pero si se fijan bien sólo es para cambiar grandes cantidades , más de 2.500 euros, en el aeropuerto les conviene ya q si cambian 500 euros o más les dan buen precio y sin comisión y en el centro esta llenó de casas de cambio pero son todas iguales y no atinen a los informales q pueden estafarlos. Cerca del hotel esta todo caminando para el lado del río Moldova y por ese lado todos los restaurantes son los más caros, si quieren comer más barato cerca del hotel pero en el otro sentido hay unos muy buenos. De verdad el hotel es encantador, lo que si cenar allí es muy caro.

  Lovely old fashioned hotel.

  A beautiful art deco hotel in a prime position just on the outskirts of the old town. We had a room on the corner of the first floor - the one in the pics which was ok but a little dated. Also quite noisy with the traffic junction right below us. Food was OK and we dined in the restaurant on the Saturday night - very small portions but tasty. We had 3 courses, wine, beer and dessert wines for two of us it was almost £90 - good value for a 5* hotel. We didn't use the hotel much as we were out and about most of the time and probably would go to a more modern hotel next time as it could be a little depressing. Warm and cosy though and the bar was good. Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bit of a bun fight with other guests elbowing their way to the bacon but lots of choice. Awful tea so have coffee! Free WiFi but pretty poor reception so hardly worth trying to log on.

  Lunch at hotel Pariz restaurant

  AVOID!! We went for lunch to the hotel restaurant and we were really dissatisfied with the service. The choice of meals is rather poor, poor variety of meals, almost all either fried or steaks. Though we asked for meat prepared in a diet way, we received it with lots of grease and spice. The staff was more focused on spending their time smoking outside the restaurant than doing their job, During paying we objected the difference between our order and the real situation, no apologies from the staff We are not going to come there again for sure! We recommend the travellers to avoid the hotel restaurant.

  simple perfect

  Good located hotel, not professional but familiar service. We went with a group, we were hiking a lot. The breakfast was very good, classic intercontinental style, enough for everybody. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. It is close to the old city center.
