  Great spot and fantastic service

  Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, stunning location and very very quiet. The dining experience was great, fresh produce, well prepared and good variety. The icing on the cake was the smiles of all the staff, they truly acted as though they really enjoyed working there and wanted your stay to be great.... so well done team. we will be back for sure.

  Will definitely stay again

  Great Room and atmosphere, awesome dinner at the restaurant which managed to fit us in , even though they were fully booked , the room overlooked the lake which was wonderful to look out on while having coffee in the morning. My only gripe was that breakfast was disappointing but the service was fantastic

  A great relax and nice facilities

  We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 6 as the weather got better each day. The resort is starting to show a few signs of age and the grounds need some attention - no excuse for the proliferation of weeds evident. The rooms have a kitchenette including microwave and coffee machine. The servicing was excellent and the booking came with breakfast included and these were pretty good - but I have to say cold baked beans and cold mushrooms as 'sides' on a big breakfast is not the Kiwi way! We tried to use the restaurant one night but when we arrived at 8pm we were told it was closed for private function - so why not leave a note at each unit telling us? Anyway we had fish and chips as room service meals and these were great - hot and the chips were hot and crispy too - so big plus for that. Another observation - the pool is far too cold and really needs to be made warmer to get better utilization. It was too cold for me to even attempt to get in. The dining area and adjacent facilities, tennis, petanque, cricket etc is great for groups to get involved in.

  Lakeside cottage

  We were lucky to be upgraded to a lakeside cottage. Furnished like an apartment, the accommodation is luxurious. Staff very friendly. Nice pool. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was very well presented with hot choice of eggs anyway!

  A quiet relaxing, peaceful place to stay.

  We were booked so that we could attend the Martinborough Fair, but due to COVID it was cancelled.We could not cancel our booking so went ahead and stayed for four nights.The cottage was nicely laid out and had all we needed.Great spa bath and separate shower.Only used the outdoor pool once as it was rather cool.
