Convenient for sports events & conventions held nearby. If you come for a particular purpose like conventions, watching the sport event held nearby (i,e,figure skating etc), this hotel is a good choice.5mins walk to 2006 winter Olympic game villages& Lingotto station, 10mins walk to the Lingotto shopping centre, 20mins walk to the Palavela stadium.Otherwise it's very far from Trin city centre where all historical attractions/high brand shops are located.(15-20mins by taxi=12euro) However, it's a lovely family runned small hotel, suitable for a budget traveller. Rooms are basic but clean, good size. Staff are all nice and friendly, always welcoming you warmly. Not all of them speak English well but at least one speaks very well and he will translate,no worries. Good choices of buffet breakfast + nice cappuchino every morning. Wireless internet available if you have a laptop, but even if not,the reception staff was helpful to find out any information I needed. If I have a chance, want to stay again.

good for the moneyParco Fiera is a family run hotel that feels more like a B&B. Breakfast and coffee was nice to have each morning in the lobby. The rooms are european/italian standard sized with small bathrooms; efficient and fuctional for what you pay for. There is a Pizzeria located off the lobby for dinner and a small bar in the sitting area of the lobby. This is the kind of place that grows on you and is good for the budget traveler. Very friendly staff made the stay even better!

MediumThe hotel is a little far from the center of Torino, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes to the center, so it's not a big deal. It's a 15min walk to the Pala Alpituor where they host various events. The staff were very nice, no complaints there. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were nice. There were a few problems though, the room was cold even though it had a radiator and the shower water was lukewarm, not hot enough for a cold december day. Also, I was slightly annoyed by the lack of plugs near the bed. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom, which is inconvenient if you need it as an alarm clock in the morning.

Very helpful staffThe location is not central, but there is easy access to the centre by bus. Also if you are coming by car - there is free parking on site. The rooms were clean and reasonably priced. The receptionist had very good English and was very helpful. We did forget our camera in the room and when contacted the hotel they answered straight away and helped us to arrange the delivery of our camera back to the UK.

Not so welcomingI landed in Torino 12th of April and due to champions league event, I only found this hotel with still room available not too far from city center. Unfortunately the woman at reception was only speaking Italian. I asked for parking because the one in front was full (3 places), no answer. I finally found a place to park quite far away from the hotel. When I came back to take the room, she asked me to pay directly (?), I felt that she was not trusting me... I finally went out for dinner and when coming back she hesitated to open the door looking at me.. Bad experience. Anyway the staff was different in the morning and more welcoming. Room and breakfast were ok.
