    Family atmosphere

My family is visiting this very family place several years in a row. If you are looking for simple, clean, on the beach, easy going place with very hospitable approach of both brothers Filippakis' this is were to go. Well hidden from the center of Faliraki and hence far from wild parties/noise. But still 10-15 minutes walking distance to the bars if you wish. To the studios there is attached restaurant with typical Greek cuisine - very home made style.

    OK budget hotel

Staff and owner are wonderful! Service minded throughout. I had a top floor room with a stunning view over the bay. Wonderful. Everything is basic, so expect no frills. Nearby supermarket and minimarkets carry what you need: Soap, shampoo, coffee/tee etc. There is a kettle in the room. Air con is extra, 8 Euros a day. If you plan to do hard cardio (e.g. breathing) it is highly recommendable in july. Restaurant is very OK, but in fierce and unfair competition with all inclusive hotels in the area. So ask, what is on the menu. I had a wonderful tuna salad one evening and a highly forgettable chicken fillet another (the cat was ecstatic, though). Location perfect in the southern part of Faliraki. Very quiet and in walking distance from the party street, the Kathara beach and naturist beach just around the corner.

    October 2019 review

Hi, we (2 adults + 2 kids) spent a week in October 2019 in this place (for the first time booked via hotels.com) Following comments : "+" positive/? 1. good location in terms of access to bus stop (just in front of hotel). We took a bus to Rhodes city, Lindos and even Tsambika beach (its not mentioned, but you shall take a bus to Lindos and just take a driver you are going to Thambika, even you can take a bus to Anthony Quinn - for around 2Euro). The nearby beach - Kathara is not the best one, Faliraki beach is better. 2. few shops just in front of hotel, however not a wide choice of products. 3. few good places for food just in front of hotel - Kathara beach cafe and Victoria Beach restaurant. 4. probably price? but... not really "-" negative 1. generally, its not oriented for families with kids - not even small playground. Even, the door was open to the roof this must be closed for the future to avoid risks. 2. "sea-view" room we got - unfortunately it has two large electricity cables in front of you - so it destroys all the view. 3. cleaning was not ok (they did not clean toilet, sink) 4. we had a great morning surprise : cockroaches in toilet (three mornings in a row) and ants in kitchen (two mornings). We do not have to complain about mosquitos (I believe its normal thing), but could be great to have some kind of protection net. 5. TV around 10 channels in greek language, not even 1 channel in English or any other language. WiFi was available in room, but quality of network was quite poor. Overall : We have selected hotel based on so high review (similar marks on booking.com and hotels.com), however its not like that. Most likely the hotel is oriented for guests from Czech republic/Slovakia due to many information posters related to this countries. We can understand it was low-season in October, however we doubt its better quality during summer in the hotel itself. Regarding a local restaurant within a hotel we have not tried food there, meanwhile we have seen some time just few persons there eating. Regarding hosts of place if we asked something we got it (for example forks, knives..). Generally, if we (family with kids) would have to choose to stay again in Faliraki we would choose a hotel/apartments closer to Faliraki center, closer to central part of Faliraki beach around the are where all-inclusive hotels starts.
