  Great stay

  We stayed 7 nights and on arrival we ran into trouble getting to our room with all our gear, as hubby doesnt like lifts he waited for me take things up on the lift, then he would walk up stairs, well I can tell you if it wasnt for the help of the young assistants Jack, Tully and the young lady working with him, we would have been in a pickle, they graciously, helped me with the luggage after I got to the top, while Allan was helped downstairs. it was excellent to see young people so willing to go out of their way to assist and I couldnt thank them enough. We had a mix up last night with the rooms but the next room was better. Everything else was a bonus in the room and the area around. The eaterys were top notch. Dee

  Disappointing

  We stayed there last night and could not leave fast enough. We booked the ground floor 2 bedroom apartment and it was filthy and a dark apartment with hardly any natural light. After requesting a refund the Manager Dave who was apologetic and helpful gave us another apartment. My son developed such bad hay fever allergies in the room he could hardly sleep. Next door partied until 2am and people were loud and drunk coming up and down the stairs which our bedroom window opened up to until midnight. We checked out by 8am. The place needs a deep clean and revamp. Way overpriced and disappointed. Would never stay here again.

  Great spot! Nicely appointed.

  We had a great stay in a 2 bedroom rooftop spa apartment. Nicely decorated and had almost everything we needed - some decent wine glasses would have been great. Some shade on the rooftop would have enabled us to spend more time up there as the view is amazing! Spa was way too hot for summer weather. Would love to come back one day.

  Very disappointing

  We were so disappointed when we got into the apartment. It's a ground floor, unit 102, extremely dark, no outlook, dingy drab furnishings, shabby big hole in one of the old leather couches, lots of cracks and wear on the other... dirt on kitchen and bathroom floor, flickering light in main bedroom, bulb missing in light in 2nd bedroom, frayed carpet... it felt like a dungeon. I asked for an upgrade but they said no, fully booked. No apologies. No/very unreliable internet. Mostly no signal at all. Never again! Minimal supplies in kitchen and bathroom. Not even cleaned properly. Website is misleading.

  Dated, dirty and dysfunctional....in great location

  Im not one to usually write reviews but our experience at Paradiso was so bad I feel like it should be shared so people dont get the shock we did on arrival. Im not sure what was worse? The filthy scatter cushions covered in stains sitting on the beds and the couches? The horrendous state of the outdoor area or perhaps the long list of items that were broken....the dishwasher, cable tv, a sun lounger, dryer and the internet. Ill admit the staff tried to get the dishwasher fixed, they came and removed the disgusting cushions and the wifi eventually worked but it honestly feels like the place is falling to pieces. We stayed in a 2 bedroom rooftop apartment and the photos looked bright and fresh which was far from reality. The apartment is spacious and a great layout but its dated and in desperate need of some TLC. The staff were pleasant to deal with (especially the trainee who was a delight) but clearly management have let the building go. And each apartment is quite a different standard as theyre privately owned so the room we had was nothing like the advertised images. Its a great location and affordable but maybe pack some cleaning products and a few tools in your suitcase!
