  Very disappointed not what was advertised at all

  We have travelled from WA to visit Cairns and this resort is sadly not what we expected. Not even 4 star. The concierge was lovely we were warmly greeted and that was awesome. But signage is poor on driving in. This is the tip of the iceberg everything just seems run down. Lap pool is empty and closed for renovations. Golf course is closed. Room is clean but no wow factor. Stools at breakfast bar tired. Lounge is tired. I thing is really clean. It just seems like its been let go. It has so much potential but does not live up to it at all. What a shame. No gym no wifi. So disappointed.

  Golf course is closed.

  The golf course is closed for redevelopment. It is safe to assume that the residents of the gated community who paid a premium to overlook a golf course within a stroll of the club house are disappointed with the prospect of overlooking a housing estate and school instead. As disappointed as the visitors who believed the promotional material, which still abounds, including the signs on the highway which still advertise GOLF. There is an ongoing conflict between the residents and council. It's all on the web.

  Wonderful venue for a Birthday Party

  We only stayed one night at Paradise Palms but could easily have stayed longer. The reception staff were very obliging and friendly. Our arrival for the party was a surprise and the staff rang us when our room was ready and the Birthday girl was not around. The party was well catered for and the finger food was plentiful and tasty. The kids had a great playground area to amuse themselves. The buffet dinner was very nice. The staff were attentive and could not do enough for us. Our room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet or a la carte and it was well cooked with a lot of variety. Would definitely stay there again.

  Paradise Palms Resort

  What a beautiful find, quiet enough. Friday night all you can eat buffet, saturdays are bbq afternoon, sunday afternoon music & 2 for 1 pizza, kids play area. Very nice setting shame the golf course isnt still open. Pretty sure you can rent holiday accomodation there. We stayed with friends there, very nice.

  Amazing Stay

  This place was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids 2 large apartments cojoined so we as parents got privacy with kids room down the other end Kitchen great, dining room and balcony spacious Washing machine and dryer. Awesome. Female front counter staff very happy and helpful Buffet brekkie great food for the price Kids loved the 2 pools. Playground and minigolf Apartment was quiet at all times Great undercover parking. The only fault is that the apartment smelt of cigarettes each time we came. Once aired out the smell went Unsure if smokers had been there or if they need to replace the catpets and furniture due to old smells Thanksfor a perfect holiday 10 min drive to palm cove restaurants Must have your own car to be happy here
