Hotel sencillo con ambiente deportivo.Habitación pequeña, limpia, austera. Camas comodas. El hotel está en el medio del bosque. Está ubicado en el centro de alto rendimiento olimpico de Holanda y lo usan los deportistas habitualmente. El desayuno está bien sin más.

dissapointing visit in spite of good review 2 years agothe rooms seemed smaller and slightly shabbier. No fridge or tea/coffee maker, but the beds most comfortable. The shower definatley needs updating in all 3 rooms that we used.Breakfast was good and the meals we had were good but very expensive,as were the drinks. As we were there for the Arnhem memorial the hotel was full of paratroopers both x and serving a fight quickly ensued between them early evening and no member of staff helped at all.Disgraceful .

Sport HotelThe location is perfect, in the green woody area. "Sport hotel" because it's usually used for all the sporters during their training days for big events but when there's no activity, it's for the public. The atmosphere is obviously "sport" because when you entered the area you will see a very big information board with the countdown of the Olympic game. Before entering the hotel there're two sculptures of running athlete. In the hotel self you will find a wall of framed with all trophy, picture of Dutch athletes, a footballer on your door room and proverb of Mohammed Ali on the wall of your room, a big picture of a cyclist on the wall of the restaurant etc...etc. The room is small, so are the beds. The interior can be compared with student room, very prctical and no romantic at all. So many small shelves on the wall as well in the room as in the bathroom. But it's clean, friendly staff and good breakfast.

Underwhelmed and then disappointed.Something to bear in mind if you are not taking your car here - taxis are expensive (see later) and the bus stop is 400m away, with no buses after 6pm or on weekends! The grounds and hotel were nice enough, the rooms are very simple and what I'd expect from a Holiday Inn Expressin the UK. Unfortunately the service was very poor. On a night when the hotel had a lot of people staying for the 75th anniversary commemorations, there was one experienced member of the staff behind the bar while the rest were all on their first nights. I can't fault the new staff's attitudes but they were clearly feeling out of their depth and intimidated by the size of the queues. Room service over four nights consisted of a superficial tidy up after the first night, with all the soaps being removed from our rooms for some reason. After that, we just had laundry bags full of towels left outside our doors. The really digusting facet of our stay was the relationship the receptionists seem to have with A&B taxis. If you ask for a taxi, reception call this firm first and then try to squeeze extra passengers in with you. We saw these extras slipping the drivers some cash before getting in, and then they leave before you're charged an increased rate due to number of passengers. A taxi with three of us in was over 12 Euro cheaper than one with 4, going to exactly the same place. We complained about this to the hotel, and they tried the exact same trick with a 70 year old couple who refused to allow this extra person in; the driver became aggressive and repeatedly mentioned his uncle who fought for the mujahideen before dumping the couple off on the opposite side of the station to where they'd asked for. A&B's drivers are dangerous, their cars unsage with massive cracks across the windscreen, and the drivers will try to get more people in than seatbelts, something another taxi firm told us was illegal. If you must use this hotel and need a taxi, get a card from the taxis at the central station when you arrive in Arnhem.
