  Excellent Hotel

  Nice stay at excellent hotel..........!!!!!!!!!! Room:Room was clean and green,Spacious,cool and perfect.Queen sized bed was comfortable and cozy. Staff:Staff members was friendly and theirs services were good.Always ready to help wih smile. Location:Away from the hustle-bustle of city.No doubt hotel located far away from thamel but good for siteseen and other activities. Overall all the amenities were good.Ambience was quite,cool & perfect.I would recommend to stay.

  4 nights in double bed room with shared bathroom

  The location's hotel is in a quite and "rich" suburb, so it is actualy quite nice to escape the crazy vibes from the city center. The staff are nice and helpful. They have airport shuttle for 15USD. You can use the shared kitchen for 3USD/day, Saleways supermarket is just 10min by walk. The wifi works good in the shared living room in each level.

  Excellent Accommodation

  This apartment is clean and I found this a safe place to stay. The managers are always present and very friendly/helpful. The pictures are accurate representations of what to expect. There is a local style kitchen/bathroom+toilet on each floor. The beds are really comfy. It is in a good location, it is a 15 minute walk to the Ring Rd mall and TU teaching hospital.

  Medical Elective

  As one of 4 medical students looking for accommodation near Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, this place was perfect. Only a 15 minute walk, closer than most agency associated accommodation, and next to many of the embassies so we felt safe the entire time. The managers are lovely, genuine and took care of us throughout our stay. They provide water for a small fee, and our kitchen was very similar to the local's kitchens. We had a fridge and microwave, all we needed for basic cooking and breakfast as we wanted to eat at the local restaurants. The rooms were awesome - large queen beds with soft mattress and a wardrobe with plenty of storage space. The place was cleaned regularly which was good too. There is a living area on each floor which was a very welcome space. The bathrooms were really nice, with hot water available most of the day. Overall, a great experience great facilities and would happily go back.

  8 week stay at an awesome apartment!

  My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papaya for our 8 week elective at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. There were many positives about staying at Papaya. Firstly, location. Papaya is located in a very safe neighborhood, about 15minutes walk to TUTH and 10minutes to the local supermarket and shops. It was also a 15minute bus ride (on the green bus) to Thamel from Ring road. Secondly, the apartment itself. We were lucky enough to each have a comfy double bed and our own room (4 total} on one level. Shared amenities including a spacious lounge area, kitchen (with microwave), and bathroom. Everything was very clean, and the staff cleaned our area regularly. Thirdly, the manager and staff. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating, helping us with what ever we needed. Especially the manager, he made sure our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable! We would recommend Papaya Hotel and Apartment to anyone who is travelling to Kathmandu!
