Great choice for a quiet spot with a spacious roomI stayed here for a few days last month because the price was good and room would sleep 3. The owner, Mr. Luang is a wonderful character whose constant grin just makes you want to explore his sense of humor more. He found me wandering around Nai Yang beach one night of our stay, and asked me if I wanted to borrow his motor cycle and take my mother in law to see the market. I did, and he sat there chatting until I got back an then offered to drive me back to the hotel himself! This is not a place that will ask you what you need every five seconds but they will take care of what you ask for, and provide a large quiet room with easy access to Nai Yang and the next beach south. Friendly people, and a cruise to the airport when you are ready make it a good option on the way in or out of Phuket.

Just okWe stayed here for three nights over a period of 12 days in Thailand. Booked through Agoda and requested airport pick-up the first night. No one showed up to retrieve us. We ended up paying for a 300 baht taxi. When we arrived at the hotel, the manager said he didn't know about the pick-up. I showed him the agoda confirmation, he shrugged and said he didn't know. So not sure where the problem was. They did transport us to and from Nai yang beach for no charge which was appreciated. The room for three people was old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on Agoda or Tripadvisor. It was a large bungalow. Plenty of room but not very clean. The second stay in the same room was a bit cleaner. The air-con would freeze up in the middle of the night and make a loud grinding noise. The first night we found a 2-inch cockroach in the bathroom, he kept to himself and was gone on the second stay. This room was considered deluxe plus we paid for an extra bed. Probably over paid because that room had two double beds. For $50 a night we were disappointed with the accommodations. The third stay was for only 2 people and I was really hoping to finally be off the main road in the back section of bungalows, but no. They were full so we were put in the first bungalow next to the road. It looks like they converted an old office into a guest room, since two walls were sliding doors. Thus it was super noisy from the diesel trucks and motorbikes on the road all night. The aircon was better in this room and the furnishings were newer. The shower drain was clogged, so lots of standing water in the bathroom. Communication in English was difficult at times. And the in-room wifi was spotty and unreliable. On a positive note, the free morning transfer to the airport was convenient and prompt. Would not choose Panpen bungalows in the future.

It's all about the bedWe booked for 2 nights through booking.com. The room is nice but the bed was like sleeping on rocks. If you are used to sleeping on concrete, or your name is Fred Flinstone, then this is right for you. The lack of English on their part did not allow us to check another room for our second night so we decided to move to another hotel. The owner is a lovely man, the young people have very little English and are too wrapped up in gaming on their phones to care what you are trying to ask them. No adapters for international travellers. Will not stay there again.

Fairly enoughSpend here couple of nights and want to say that it was good for money they asked. Small nice bungalow whith all necessary things what you need for a good staying. Friendly owner, gave me few helpfull advices. Just one think...it's a little bit far from the beach if you don't drive scooter or bike.
