  Disappointed in Pine Inn room and Staff

  We received a friendly greeting at check in. The directions to our room were terrible resulting in us standing in front of locked doors wondering what to do next. Eventually, I found the room - Signage was terrible. We discovered we could not drink the water - Our building was under a Drinking Water Advisory. I feel I should have been told about this problem before arriving on site and, at the very least, during check in. The room air was stale and stank like it hadn't been opened for weeks. We aired the room out by opening the patio door which was broken and unlock-able. A large fan was provided because there was no air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. This building, the Pine Inn, is one building of many on this site. It is very tired and reminded me of an '80s College Dorm. We did enjoy the Hot Pools. The pool area is nice but also tired. The pools we were in, the locker and shower room all needed a good cleaning. I booked this room based on the resort's website - everything looks beautiful. I feel that this room was misrepresented on the booking and resort site. When checking out I started to bring up my issues with the person on duty. He seemed to be listening until another staff member walked into the room who he then gave his full attention to leaving me mid-sentence. I walked away, unnoticed. The area is beautiful and maybe another, newer building would have been better but I do not recommend booking into the Pine Inn.

  Ugly room.

  The room looked old and dirty. The people who cleans the room never showe up during all the weekend we spent there. The toilet was not working properly. The mountain is beautiful and the hot pool is really nice, but choose a different area to stay because Pinne Inn is an horror.

  NEVER stay here

  What a filthy, disgusting place. Stayed 3 nights for the Radium car show. The room was very dark, stunk like mold and mildew. Bathroom was especially disgusting. Carpets were stained every where. Hallway and stairs carpet was worn down to the cement. The whole building was filthy. They put us on the 3rd floor, we are seniors. The bottom 2 floors were virtually empty as was the 3rd floor. Talk about a roach hotel. Will never stay in Panorama again.

  Perfectly acceptable for price paid as part of a package

  For once I'll get the bad points out of the way first : Carpets ...... need the stains cleaning up, all they were missing was the body outline tape you see in a crime programme. One of the very few 'room only' places I've stayed in Ca that doesn't come with a fridge and at least a microwave ...... but I guess this ties in with the dining agenda at PMV in general Housekeeping patchy That's about it, otherwise : Very convenient for the slopes, warm, spacious, laundry & hot tub Wifi surprisingly usable Booked as part of an incredibly cheap Crystal package, third stay over the years and doesn't seem to have deteriorated much although some kind of refurb would't go amiss Crystal guests seem to get the better rooms, as in the mountain view balcony ones away from the 'T' bar Non staffed reception bit of a building site on arrival but cleaned up after couple of days, no ski lockers as room being re-done All in all as said perfectly acceptable as part of a cheap TO package, maybe a bit pricey if booked separately

  Disgusting

  Room was dark and dingy. No a/c, no fridge. Smelled like mould. Beds u comfortable and squeaked every time you moved. Mattresses were stained badly, the shower curtain was disgusting. There was lots of stairs to haul luggage up. No help either. The rugs on the stairs were worn through to the floor. Part of the rug was torn up in the entrance. We were honestly scared to sleep in the room. Reported the hotel to Priceline who we booked through. They passed us on to Booking.com who sent a note .....BUT nothing more. On checking out we said we werent happy and got nothing from the staff either other than the plan is to renovate in 2 years time. It is NOT a 3 star by no means. It isnt more than a 1 star and would never stay again. It was the WORST hotel on our travels through Saskatchewan, Alberta, BC and the US and it was not the cheapest either. DONT Recommend this hotel at all!!!!!!
