  EXCELLENT service and food

  We have a wonderful time when staying at Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort, their staff is very friendly and the food is great, the chef Hadi is very friendly, cook us delicious food and accommodate our request I'm will strongly recommend you put a night here as I'm sure do when I visit Pangkor Island again I'm going to miss this place, the food and place is prefect

  Perfect for our 1st time to Pangkor

  If you have never been to Pangkor and are unsure where to start, make a booking at Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort. This is the safest thing to do. There are only 25 rooms so you wont expect a huge crowd like some other hotels. There is also direct beach access and many eateries within walking distance. If you are looking to buy some duty free chocolates, CK Mart is also within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. Nice landscaping especially around the pool area. The reception/lobby takes up only a small space. There is one cafe that opens from breakfast (nice variety) till 10pm. This cafe sells beers too. Our room: SUPER DELUXE TYPE A The rooms are comfortable and clean. What you would expect from a hotel. Basic amenities are provided in the bathroom but do remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and shavers. There is also a hairdryer in the room. The floor is tiled while rooms upstairs (Standard rooms) are carpeted. The staff are pleasant and very friendly. The ones to look out for are Vicknesh, Roziana and Nandini from the reception, Hadi, Shuhada and Shakira from the cafe. CHANGES: If I could make requests, Id like to see better quality towels in the rooms and new beds. The beds truly need to be replaced. Hope to see these upgrades on our next trip...

  Great relaxing holiday

  We had a wonderful time in this resort. rented the chalet for 5 nights. The complex is very well maintained and clean. We had decided for a candle light dinner, which was organized with a lot of love. The meal was excellent. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The cook organized special requests from the guests! Thank you, we will come back.

  Cosy Chalet

  It was a return to Pangkor Island after more than 30 years, months of restricted travel due to Covid-19 and simply needing a place where we could listen to the therapeutic sound of waves as we drift off to sleep at night. Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort became our choice as it was low dense with not too many rooms and only 3 beach front chalets. A ten minute ride by taxi (pink taxi vans waiting at the jetty) made it so easy to get to the hotel at only RM10 (4 pax). A warm & friendly reception greeted us and our luggage bags were sanitised upon check-in. A great comfort to know that safety is a priority. Their customer care before our trip was excellent too - prompt replies to general inquiries by us. The first impression of how close the beach was to our chalet and the view from our chalet balcony overlooking the sea, was simply awesome. The chalet had bath towels (bath & pool),shampoo, lotion, hair dryer, bidet, Astro-good range of channels. Convenient location and within minutes of walking distance to restaurants, duty free shops, taxi stand. Breakfast was simple yet sufficient. Staff were friendly, polite & courteous. Attention to detail for improvement: Housekeeping - was omitted and was told we did not put up the sign on the door, but nowhere indicating that we should. However, it was quickly resolved. Technical Glitch - Astro was not functioning for one of the chalets. However, this too was quickly resolved. Sound of Waves - this was a true disappointment as we could not hear the sound of waves as soon as the door was closed. So near yet so far. Very sad indeed. Refurbishment - Chalet looked tired. Price - chalet price could be lowered to compete with other chalets by the beach. Overall, satisfied with stay. A resort worth visiting and hoping for a re-visit soon!

  Pangkor Sandy Beach Resort Chalet

  Nice room. We love it. Our room located near to the beach. Once we arrived, the staff give us a very good service. They have a superb view. I will repeat our honeymoon here again for next year. Thank you for all the memories.
