  Quaint guest house... We had a lovely weekend in the Isle of Wight.... lovely guest house, clean and tidy...Owners very pleasant... lovely breakfast which was buffet and had everything you wanted... Would definitely recommend and would go back.

  Lovely B&B

  Stayed here for 3 nights. Good location with free parking. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Room comfortable with a lovely cooked buffet breakfast. Couldnt fault it! Would definitely recommend staying here.

  Stayed for one night in a family room. Room size was ok. Hotel itself has seemingly kept its old-fashioned decor, but unfortunately fails to provide quirkiness, instead making the hotel look tired and dated. Free parking was handy and its location to the beach is good, although many steps to negotiate before getting there. We had a timed breakfast sitting, to ease with Covid control, although not entirely sure this worked, as people came and wandered where they liked. The food was tasty and served on their bone china - which sadly wasnt the cleanest Ive seen. Slightly disappointing, but served a purpose for an overnight stay.

  Most enjoyable stay!

  Enjoyed a 2 night stay in a triple room with a huge, very comfortable double bed and a single. Room was extremely clean and spacious with plenty of storage, tv and tea & coffee making facilities. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and they served up a superb breakfast! Theres a good sized bar area and a nice garden at the front to sit outside. The B&B is in a great location for the beach, the town and the old village. We walked everywhere and left the car in the free car park on site. Great little place, although could maybe do with getting rid of some of the ornaments and furniture as it looks a bit cluttered!

  Not overjoyed

  A good location just a few minutes walk to the High Street or to the beach. The Cliff lift wasn't in operation when we were there so be prepared to climb loads of stairs to get back up from the beach. The hotel (or B&B as the owners call it) has free parking for residents and a nice bar which is open to the public. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The themes of all the nik-naks throughout the hotel (and there are plenty of them) are a bit confusing and it makes you wonder how one relates to the other. It was the same in our room which had the two weirdest ceiling lamps that I have ever seen. The bed was large, firm and comfortable. The en-suite shower cubicle was the smallest that I have ever had the mis-fortune to use and the water pressure was ridiculously poor. Owners were friendly but generally kept themselves to themselves which ain't a bad thing.
