Honest reviewFirst: tripadvisor map shows misleading location, but Goolge Earth will show the real location. We stayed at FMG Palmera Kleopatra Beach hotel in August, in the middle of summer. location: the last building before the Alanya end sign. Have to take the local bus(2 min walk down the main road, 1 person -1YTL fare) to go to the town centre it takes 10-15 minutes of travelling due to the crowded city. If you don't like long walks in orderto get to the bazaar, consider not to choose this Hotel Hotel: 3 star /rather 2/ old used building with to types of room. One fairly good, and older small dirty rooms. Small rooms are stinky, and used down. Small Tv-s, old barely working AC, no room bar. Shower is included, but the bathroom is too tiny. Food and drinks: stayed as all inclusive, but food was worst ever seen. 1 meat meal and 8-10 side dishes, 2 kind of sweet, 1 kind of fruit. Drinking was solved via palin beer, water, coffee, 3 kinds of local cola, from plastic "mug"s. Not sufficeint breakfast with one kind of bread. All courses were really bad. Staff: no english and german skills, due to the enormous number of russian guests. At least they knew russian. Sometimes unpolite and bad mannered. They were worked as slaves by management. Beach: end of kleopatra beach, with mixed rocks, sand and dirt. Beach bar served only water and two kinds of juice. Beachbed was free though. To approach the beach you have to cross the road. Overall: instead of considering this hotel to stay in choose someothers beacuse it doesn't even worth to stay. If you want to mess up your holiday choose this. I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemies. It is crowded with russians. I am really sorry to say this, this hotel in all inclusive is a shame of turkish people.

Worst holiday experienceTiny stinky rooms, rude staff, dirty pools, food poisoning and garbage all over - that`s what it was all about. I think the worst part was the gym/internet area, situated on the first floor where they don`t seem to open window hmm ever?it smelled horribly and in june the heat was just unbearable .Had to use internet for some info since the staff barely could speak english and even if they did, they couldn`t answer pretty much any of our questions. Beach is dirty and has plenty big sharp rocks on the bottom. On the first day of our stay an older couple warned us about food as people were taken to the hospital with some kinds of food poisoning,so at least, watch what you are munching on.Drinks were all mixed up with tap water. Yes,our budget was more then modest and yet it didn`t save our holiday from being ruined. Shame on you, palmera kleopatra.

Quite good as for 3 starsWe enjoyed. Though clients are such people that are thinking not always rationally. It happened somehow that some had not really good opinion about the hotel so the others kind of adopted these thoughts. But nothing really concrete well, other places offer better service. What it meant they really could not say. From the other hand we met some people from 4 star hotels they were also complaining. For example, they had some instant drink instead of juices. Well, fair point. As for previously read ad, everything was quite as it was written there. There were people from Moldova, so, theyve been told about fresh juice and some other good things which they didnt find here. Not good. Service. I did visit some countries and hotels but it was my first time when I bought this kind of tour so, probably, I dont understand all the small points) The staff did not speak neither Russian nor English. When I proposed to a receptionist to speak in English she said O, no problem. But no problem meant no English, probably. Some waiters did try to speak Russian or English. But that was not really a problem. There were no any issues that we had to discuss in any language. After we checked in we did not really meet the staff, except waiters. Somewhere I read that the hotel provided every-day room cleaning, towel change once in three days, and I didnt remember about bedclothes. So, they never changed neither towels nor bedclothes. Well, not a problem for us. One guy from Denmark once said that I dont change bedclothes that often as they do in some hotels. But probably some hotel standards say they should. Restaurant service was good enough. Good guys, no rudeness, as some write. Quite opposite, the waiters were very friendly. Rooms. We got 6th floor (5th as for English). The room was just recently renovated. Nothing fancy but quite good. The bathroom was good. Rooms on other floors were not that new as I understood. Hot water always. Bedclothes - new. The conditioner worked. But when you go out you have to pull out your card key from the special slot and that operation turns the electricity off. Thats OK but you cannot leave the conditioner working. That was the part of the plan as I understand, but it was quite hot in the room when you return there. Probably, good for your health) The beach. I would say that the beach was the weakest element. It was sandy but a bit dirty. If they would clean it, it would be more clean) But the worst thing was that there were big stones in the water, just along the waterline. Such a stone line, 3 meter wide. So, it was not really convenient to enter the sea, especially for younger children. But we walked some 100 meters towards the city center there was a big public beach there. Again, not really clean, but not dirty either. But it was wide and half empty. So, everything was OK in this respect. As we understood, all or almost all beaches in the city are municipal. Just in some places hotels put their stuff there, like loungers and so on. So the hotel beach was not private (or probably I got something wrong). Anyway, access to it (as to other beaches) was open for everybody. Food. Some people complained about food. Mostly, we had vegetables marrows, eggplants, cabbage As for meat, at lunchtime and in the evening some Turkish comrade stood with a ladle and distributed meat. You could ask for more but you felt uncomfortably if tried to take full plate of meat. So, some people grieved about meat food. But it was really OK. No one died by hunger. As for fruits, we had only watermelons and local oranges. Nothing really to choose from but the oranges were so tasty. They looked a bit underripe but were really sweet. No juices. Another bad point. Instead of them some instant drinks. Water drink as much as you can, but dont pour to bottles. Plus coca-cola, fanta, sprite, some not tasty local lemonade, beer, vodka or something like this (but, actually, we dont drink alcohol, so I cant assess this side of vacations). There was a bar on the beach with water and those instant drinks. So, as for food, it was, so to say, a budget choice. There was also no animation at the hotel at all. Good, as for me. I just dont like things like this. Once, some leather plant arrived and showed some leather jackets and so on. Also, a lady danced a belly dance. It was all about animation. We and our younger one (6 y.o.) enjoyed. The elder one (12) also enjoyed, but she picked as some were complaining, and started to complain as well. Not really, but something like: Next time we go to another hotel. Such an age) If somebody looks for downides, he will find them of course. But it is not really funny to think about downsides from the very first day, especially if you have no choice) But in general, we liked it. P.S. At one stage we saw how they filmed a promotional video. They spread sand evenly on the beach, put loungers in lines; a comrade with a ladle was uniformed in white. Just the same as when a Soviet general visited a military unit.
