Nice boutique beach front hotelHotel Director, Simakis made sure we had a special room, and Im ever so grateful for this. Thank you Simakis. The view was amazing the design and colours of the room were modern, warm clean and cosy. Each morning I would wake up to a view of the sea and the sun rise. It was truly magical. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Chersonissos. Its not a large resort, but it is bang in the middle of the strip of Chersonissos. They have an area on the beach or you can chill out at their pool or pretty sun garden. We had half board (breakfast and dinner) the staff at the buffet were friendly and really accommodating, we did prefer the beach front restaurant food, as their were not much options for our liking. The beach restaurant is pricey and was not included in our package, but you get a 10% discount on your bill if your staying at the hotel. The only things I would say needs an upgrade would be 1. the hotels room towels, they were tatty, hard and over used. 2. The ability to have a tea coffee service in all types of room. Most hotels across the globe 4star and above offer this. 3. No charge to room safe as it shows that you want your visitors to have a stress free and safe stay. 4. TV station selection, most hotels nowadays have the option to use Netflix. Or have channels that have the most common visitors language. Seeing that the town shuts down at midnight, including the hotel the only thing to do is hangout on the balcony or to watch TV. Im lucky as I used my own device to watch. Overall, definitely a must to stay here for all ages. I saw all age groups here at Palmera Beach Hotel.

A unsworthVisited this hotel for a week lovely hotel was very clean and modern staff very good a couple of small things we were halfboard and the evening meal was similar every night needs more variety The pool very small but had a huge garden sunbathing area. We spend every night having a drink in the bar, to be honest as it is a adult only hotel expected a nice relaxing atmosphere but most nights it was full of the local youth. But the hotel was central to the resort overlooking the sea and recommend it as great base for exploring the area

Visit to Athens via GlyfadaWe recently visited Glyfada in November in which we used this hotel as a base for travelling to Athens - daily. We stayed in a hotel called Palmera beach in which the beach was literally a few minutes walk. Each morning I started the day with a hours run in which you can jog up the coast mostly on the tram lines as most local people do! The area is stunning and being on the coast, there was a good tram and bus network to Athens which was around 45 minutes travel on the X96 bus. The bus tickets are around 1.20 and you get 90 minutes of travel. You will notice your tickets dont get checked but if you fail to purchase one, the fine is 85 euros so dont be tempted! The hotel itself was very nice, and was constantly being cleaned by friendly cleaners and hotel staff. The pool area is secluded with a good area for lazing about in the sun but be quick as the sun beds go quick. On the last day, we decided to have a meal at the hotel in which I had burger and fries and a beer. The food is freshly cooked and the beer is a well known brand called Mythos which is a decent tasting lager. There was many more options on the menu and they also had a varied section for vegans. The hotel also has a gym and a bar which my friend used the gym daily whilst I was out on my run. To summarise the hotel was really good, clean and the staff were very friendly. A fantastic location in itself with plenty of restaurants and a lovely beach with the gorgeous Mediterranean to gaze out at all the beautiful yachts against the pastel blues colours of the ocean. All the locals seem to come here at the end of the day for swimming, meeting up with friends and family, cooking on small BBQs and enjoying their wine in the warm climate. I fully recommend this hotel and with a 24/7 travel network, makes for plenty of trips to Athens in which some of the historic sights are worth seeing on the evening. Athens and Glyfada are very much cafe-culture so enjoy them both. We will definitely be visiting again.

All inclusive- recommended!I went as a solo traveller- immediately on arrival greeted by a super friendly lady on reception (so sorry, I cant remember her name) and due to the hotel being relatively quiet, she very kindly upgraded me to a lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool- happy days! The room was nicely presented, good size, lots of plug sockets, which I like and nice sitting out area. I was all inclusive, which included nice cappuccino, which is a real plus for me, and all of the usual house alcoholic drinks, which were fine. Breakfast was decent, lunch was excellent (a la carte -10 off the price so not all inclusive exactly but still great value for excellent food) and dinner was good. For me, the staff made this place. All of the bar staff were really good but I have to give a special shout out to Vasiliy who waited on in the dining room. Every day without fail he was friendly and attentive, whether it was at breakfast or dinner time (long shifts!). We struck up a conversation on a daily basis and he is a genuinely nice guy who cares about providing a good service; a great asset to the business. Lastly, this hotel is in a great spot on the coast with all of the village amenities on the next street (apparently in season its quite a bustling place with lots of bars busy). All in all, I was really happy with my choice of hotel and Id definitely like to return one day.
