Fantastic B&BWe had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Mary who is at the desk is so helpful and friendly and so are the owners. The inn is beautiful. And I can't forget to mention the big beautiful dog named Brody who spends part of his day at the Inn. One day when we were having tea and the delicious cookies that are made every day, Brody sat beside us in the sitting room. He even sat when he was asked to sit. The Inn is in a great location. It is within walking distance to the center of town where there are many restaurants and also to the shuttle for the Martha's Vineyard Ferry . The day we took the ferry we ordered the picnic lunch from the Inn. It was amazing. Delicious Italian sandwiches, plums and brownies to die for. Breakfast was awesome. You had your choice. One day I had scrambled eggs and bacon and the next quiche and sausages with fresh fruit, one day watermelon and the next day pineapple and the coffee was the best I have had!! The room was beautiful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Great stay!Had a great stay at Palmer House. The staff was incredibly helpful and so nice. Shoutout to Mary who was so friendly and accommodating upon checking in, and I am sad I did not learn his name, but the gentleman working the desk the next morning gave us some great info on biking and the ferry! I very much appreciated the call from Tom in advance of our visit making sure we knew about Masss rules regarding travel during COVID. Service was really unmatched. Inn is in a GREAT location - walking distance to many restaurants and shops and very close to the Shining Sea Bikeway. The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated them finding a way to serve hot breakfast in a COVID friendly manner. The room was great. It would be 5 stars to me with a more renovated bathroom, but that may be just personal preference and it really was a great stay!

Forever our special place! <3We were lucky enough to spend a wonderful week here 3 and half years ago after getting married at Surf Drive Beach. WE ARE even luckier that we just got to spend an AMAZING 5 days here for a baby moon. We were excited to see the Inn had new owners and couldnt wait to check it out! I am so thankful that we decided to come back here! Everything was perfect right from calling and reserving. Mary the receptionist was absolutely sweet and so helpful! Upon checking in due to roofing being done they upgraded us to a different room. They wanted to make sure wed be comfortable and that the noise wouldnt be an issue. We stayed in The Emily Dickinson; which was a tired couples perfect escape. King size four post high bed (best nights of sleep all pregnancy), a huge jetted tub to soak and relax, and a fireplace with sitting chairs are just a few of the highlights! Tom and Billy are absolutely lovely. They understand a pandemic is going on but are still respectful. They understand if you want space but also make it feel normal while taking the right precautions. I didnt feel uncomfortable or scared of a pandemic being there. Ive felt the safest and most normal I have these last nine months. One of our favorite things about staying at BnBs is feeling like youre welcomed and at home. It was so nice to spend so much time talking to both Tom and Billy and getting to know them as people; not just the Inn owners. Speaking of home-breakfast was out of this world! I will take take breakfast by Billy over any restaurant! Three courses everyday and you will not leave hungry! Cravings were fulfilled with delicious gingerbread pancakes, waffles, and days of cheesy scrambled eggs! (I couldnt get enough of them!) He makes some to die for baked goods as well! Billys mother Audrey is such a sweetheart and another lovely part of the Inn. She welcomed us every morning at breakfast and made sure we never left hungry. We came back everyday to a spotless room, freshly made bed, linens, waters and snacks. 5 more stars added for their good boy Brody! 165 pounds of the sweetest boy, if youre a dog lover you will fall in love! Seeing him every morning was a great way to start the day! The inn is a quick walk to down town that is full with many wonderful restaurants and shops, a quick drive to local gorgeous beaches and the shuttle to Woods Hole to catch the ferry to the vineyard! My only complaint is that I wish we were still there! Thank you all at the Palmer House for being a part of our baby moon and making life feel a little more normal and a lot more happier in this crazy time! We cant wait to come back for our next get away!

Last minute joyLast minute decision to spend 2 dog friendly nights in Falmouth.....consider ourselves blessed to have found such a gem. Every single detail was perfect from the oh so comfortable beds, to the delicious fresh cooked breakfast , the attentive but not intrusive staff , the charming owners, I cannot say enough good things about our stay and will certainly recommend it to all our friends !!

My memory laneThis place and falmouth has been a special place to me. I spent summer back in 2011 in falmouth and work for a bit in this hotel. I didnt expect myself to be back here in Falmouth but surprisingly i did. I m so excited to be back here in Falmouth just to see how the town looks like now and to finally able to stay here in Palmer House Inn. The hotel is pretty as always and brought so much memories for me. I wish i could come back here again.
