Fantastic place for a quiet hollidayThis was a very nice experience and we will definitely come back! Not to many rooms and lots of space in the rooms, the surroundings and by the pool. No need to "reserve" a sunbed with towels. Absolutely fantastic and friendly staff. They recommended fabulous, local restaurants nearby and made sure that we got nice tables and top service. We are sorry to check out already but we'll be back!

Suite? Sweet! We spent one night in a suite and we really enjoyed ourselves throughout our stay. The suite was spacious and tidy and even though we had a view over the pool area we didn't hear any noises from outside. We would've slept well if it weren't for the huge thunderstorm! The breakfast was really good with fresh bread, eggs, croissants and cakes, fruit, cheese and cutlets. The cappuccino however was bad, maybe due to a coffee machine that hasn't been cleaned up in a while? We loved spending time by the pool enjoying the sunshine. We noticed that the garden was very well-kept. We were happy to have the opportunity to enjoy the spa and the indoor pool even after our check-out! Everything was so well-organized - we could leave our belongings in the lockers in the spa and enjoy the rainy afternoon relaxing in the spa facilities. We look forward to returning to Monastero the next time we feel the need for a weekend of relax outside the city.

A serene placeA quiet place in the middle-of-serenity so there is no way of getting around without a car. The place is geared mostly for summer as it has a large pool which is surrounded with greenery. We had a spacious suite which meant that the suitcases could stay out of our bedroom leaving ample space in the quaint bedroom. The bathroom is modern but the scales didn't work. The large ante-room overlooked the pool. At this time of the year there were very few people, in fact on one of the mornings we were alone for breakfast which was reasonable and on the night we dined there, there was just another family. It's a good thing the hotel had it's own restaurant as when we got there the first night after a whole day of sightseeing, we didn't feel like scouting for a good restaurant. The hotel one suited us fine. We had tea bags & sugar in the room but no kettle so the first night we were given a teapot with hot water, the next day we found a small electric kettle. In other hotels, Americano coffee is usually presented in a coffee pot but here you get it in a cup which gets cold by the end of breakfast. Bathrobes and slippers are in the room and there is also nice selection of bathroom amenities. Staff is very friendly.

The Perfect Place to RelaxMy wife and I have recently returned from a week at Hotel Monastero, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We can not fault this hotel at all, it was the perfect location for us to relax and rest, whilst also well situated for visiting Lake Garda, Verona, Venice and the surrounding area. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The restaurant was delightful and served some wonderful food, at reasonable prices. The spa was a delight, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, rest rooms and treatment rooms, everything you could need to soothe away any stress. Although, not directly on the lake (about 1 to 2 miles away), as long as you have transport, everywhere you could wish to visit is within an easy drive. For Venice we drove to Verona and then caught the train into Venice, I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return there some day again myself. Perfect!

Luxury at the Lake !We went to Arzarga , to play golf , 5 mins away and decided to stay outside the course ! This place was great ! We ordered a room and it was a suite, with terrace going out to the pool ! Service was great and so was the food ! Romantic but also was fun ! We will return ! It makes a great base to see the lake and other places ! Well worth it !
