  Unpleasant experience

  Arrived at the resort at 4:15pm with my children after traveling 5 hours to be told that my room wasn't ready and that they were unsure of a time and would call. I then had to call back myself at almost 6:00pm to be told that my room just became ready. They did not offer a compensation at all was just told to sit on the beach or at the pool until they call but never called me. The nightstand tables are damaged the balcony door in the room won't close and the rugs are disgusting. There was a cookie an actual cookie in the elevator on top of the camera as if it were a prop. I wish I can give it ZERO stars...i will not be back!!!

  Dont let the photos fool you!

  We are staying in unit D23 - the furniture is terribly outdated with stains & visible wearing. Same with The carpet in the bedroom. The jacuzzi tub doesnt seal & water continues to drain. There is no hot water... warm at best.., but turns cold after 2 minutes. We were told check in was 4. But when we called they said 5pm, but we werent able to get into our room until 6. Which I understand if theyre running behind, however, the property manager was pretty rude about it. The closet doors are off the hinges. Positive: The outside is beautiful. The pool & breeze way is very nice. So very disappointed.

  Very disappointing!

  This once-beautiful resort has been allowed to deteriorate significantly. Many of the problems are the result of insufficient housekeeping and maintenance staff. With the government paying people more to stay home than they can make working, it is almost impossible to keep staff at resorts and hotels. We had issues with internet access, telephone service, appliances, floors, general cleanliness, and supplies. The telephone was dead the whole time, internet service was spotty and weak, the dishwasher didn't work the first time we tried to use it. The bedroom carpet was filthy and worn out. Even shampooing did not make it acceptable. There was only one working tv remote for two tv's, and its buttons were so worn off that it was difficult to read them. There were inadequate supplies such as dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, kleenex, etc. No clock radio or wall clock. Very dirty glass doors onto the balcony - we had to clean them ourselves. On the positive side, the kitchen was well supplied, there was a nice pantry, the refrigerator had an icemaker, and the usual kitchen appliances were furnished. The room layout is nice, and the bed was comfortable. Elevator service was usually good, but wait time was sometimes long.

  I thought I was being pranked

  This place has horrible customer service 1st of all . Poor communication, I was informed check in will be later than usual (5pm instead of 4pm) due to covid because the housekeeping giving the place a deep cleaning . I didnt have a problem with that I thought well even though customer service ( Heather) was poor at least well have a clean room . Well we arrived in the room I was in disbelief. This place was not clean luckily , I had stopped by the store to get cleaning supplies and gloves. I proceeded to clean up . It took me most of the night to clean this dump . The dishes had food on them in the cabinets and in the silverware basket . The linen had stains on them I washed all the linen disinfected the bed . Mopped the floors they floors where extremely filthy . There is green mold in the bathrooms black mold in the windows stuff drizzling down the walls mounds of dust on lamps and the cabinets food caked on the cabinets . Mold in the ac vents rusty appliances dirty furniture. Kids candy stuck on the wall and dirty furniture . If you plan on traveling to this dump they lie , its trashy , and be prepared to clean up . The pool is filthy as well . Im not sure what cleaning crew they have but when they come in these rooms they must be coming into take beer breaks because there is no cleaning going on . I still cant figure out how to you think its okay to hang dirty linen . At least clean the obvious stuff but they dont care . The worst experience. I have a ton of pictures but I can only load 10 but the pictures on the website are not what you get . The furniture is ran down and dirty . We even had soiled pillows and blood stains on the pillow they put this mess on the bed the light switches and door handles are not being wiped down there is a grime on the light switches and door handle please wipe it down if you decide to come here after my review. This place is cleaning ignoring the fact that were in a pandemic and will not wipe this stuff down

  Perfect Place!

  We stayed for an extended weekend in mid-September. This was my first time to stay here and I was leery of some of the reviews. HOWEVER, this place was perfect! It is beautiful and extremely well maintained. All of the employees we spoke with were kind. The grounds were impeccably kept. The walkway to the beach is very short and easy to manage. We managed to stay right before Hurricane Sally hit so we did not rent beach chairs/umbrella, but we did enjoy the beach despite that. My son loved swimming in the pools located on property. I have already priced a second stay for the upcoming summer. We will definitely return!
