  Just what we just needed

  Beach and hotel is very nice with a big pool in the middle of the property. Rooms are very new and beautiful. I would recommend night finishing and uninhabited island visit , it was a beat experience we ever had. Also i would like to mention the beach Dinner it was very romantic

  Comfortable rooms, great pool, average food

  Stayed here for two weeks and it was very relaxing. Rooms are modern and comfortable although bed was very hard. Pool area is great but don't get your hopes up about the "private beach". A long walk from the hotel, and not clean or private. Food was very average. Staff are nice. Very isolated if you are looking for something quiet and to see how locals live. If you are looking for nightlife or the typical Maldives 5 star resort holiday this is not the place for you. Lots of mosquitos so bring repellent.

  Hello, i was there. Amazing :-) Great hotel, i really enjoyed the holiday here. Nice people. I can recomended. The meal was tasty. I was there with my girfriend, i she liked the pool and near city. So goooood :-)

  Our trip to the Paradise

  In the end of November my mum and I decided to have some quiet vacation. We decided to choose Maldives, but we wasn't sure about the hotel. Luckily my friend helped us to choose our destination - she proposed to go on the Gan island, because there is are good place for diving and snorkeling. When we came there, we were surprised to see such beautiful landscapes! It is truly like the Paradise. The Island itself is large enough, and it's beaches are really peaceful and nice. The hotel isn't far away from the airport, but you should be prepared that's the nearest shop is about 20-25 min by foot. So better to take such products as cigarettes with you, because go there in the hot weather is hard. The room was nice and comfortable, but better not to forget the adaptors, because there is only one Euro Plug adaptor. Also it is better to remind personnel to clean your room, as far as they could forget about it. Regarding food - it's hard to say definitely. If you like spicy and hot food - you would like here. If you would like to have more European food - you could order it for additional price. But I could say you for sure that you should take Full board, because as I said previously the shops are far away, and the range of goods in these shops is limited. The pool is really helping when it's heating))) Unfortunately, the SPA center isn't finished yet, but I hope that it will be ready in the nearest time. Also I would like this hotel to find a good gardener, because the territory is really nice but need some cleaning. The personnel is really friendly and helpful. They usually make Maldivian night or barbeque during a week, so it will be fun and interesting to know their culture. You should try snorkeling on the uninhabited island or on the beach of the hotel - it's exciting)) If you would like to have peaceful vacation, far away from the civilization and with a low prices - you should come here. Hope that you will enjoy your staying in Palazzo as we did!!!

  not worth the money

  we were really disappointed of this hotel. we were going to stay 12 nights, after 2 nights we left. the transfer was no roblem, everything went fine. as we arrived on gan island we thought this cant be true! rubbish everywhere! arriving at the hotel we where surprised as everything looks nice and very new. we asked if there are any shops or restaurants, the answer we got: no, it is to far away! so you cant really do anything there! the beach is 10 minutes away, it is a bikini beach but it is not like you expect from the maldives. rubbish again everywhere. and you cant really snorkel there. the room was actually quite good, exept the bed! it was so hard I couldnt sleep for 2 nights! the safe was not working- no batteries, the telephone was not working, the tv was not working and so on. normally we wouldnt bother but there is nothing much you can do at this place. the food was horrible. on the first night there was a bbq, nobody told us when it starts, what it costs, how it works, it was like they did not care about us at all. apparently we were 15 minutes late for the bbq so everything was cold already! the same for breakfast. it was from 07:30 to 09:30 but when you are there later than 07:30 everything is cold! to get coffee you have to wait a long time till someone finally shows up. lunch was disappointing as well: half of the things on the menu arent even available. as it is a local island, alcohol is forbidden, which wouldnt be a problem it the only alternatives werent coke or water! when we left after already 2 nights the manager didnt even care! If you want a real maldive experience: dont go there!!!! there a re much nicer places like ukulhas or bathala!
