  Well done Mark Warner

  A great holiday. Lots of Covid safety measures in place. Resort is newly refurbished and looks stunning. Great facilities, including two large pools and a separate pool for kids. Buffet breakfast and dinner served for you in line with Covid advice, very nice selection of god quality food. Staff very friendly and efficient. So glad our holiday went ahead. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Were coming back in 2021!

  Great break with a toddler

  Hard to fault this place! Beautiful resort, high quality rooms, all staff extremely helpful and friendly, 3 great pools (including 1 paddling pool), great selection of delicious food, fun evening activities in the bar (if you want to join - if not, other places to relax), great setting for dinner, good choice of water sports (and more wind than we expected) good flight and transfer. And the best thing - the child care! Our toddler loved the kids club (phew) and the film club/sleep club worked surprisingly well for us. We dropped her off in her PJs at 7.30 and collected her asleep at 10.30 - what a win! If I was going to suggest one improvement it would be to think further about environmental aspects. E.g. Towels were changed every day with no option to say you were happy to keep them for another day, the restaurant only provided plastic water bottles despite the hotel having drinking water available (we were told it was fine to drink the tap water in our rooms). I'd love to have seen child bike seats available so we could have explored the nearby surroundings by bike as a family but these weren't available. Covid arrangements okay - could socially distance, buffet was served by staff (so guests couldn't help themselves) and regular cleaning. Staff were meant to wear masks inside but this was variable. Spa was closed.

  The perfect balance, top quality

  We recently stayed for 2 weeks half board, we booked very last minute due to COVID quarantine restrictions. On arrival we were blown away with the beautifully built resort, the 3 swimming pools, the beach bar, taverna and rooms, all so perfect. The weather was amazing 34c with one day where the cyclone hit. We chose MW mainly for the kids clubs. We took our 18 month daughter and it was fantastic! It gave us time as a couple to get some R&R and enjoy the water sports and cycle in the town each morning. Kids club: our daughter stayed each morning 9-12.30, the British staff were amazing, so so good with our daughter, she loved it. A special thank you to Ellie, Will, Claire and Anya, lovely people! Out and about: Whilst our daughter was in club we took our bikes to Paleros, a 10 min cycle or a 20/30 walk, the small Greek village is stunning, small bars and restaurants and marina. We loved it there. If you turn right out of resort there are 4 beach bars, a nice change of scenery and chill with a cold drink by the sea. Baby sitting: they do a drop off kids club 730-1030pm but our daughter didnt like this so on a couple of evenings we paid for one the kids club staff to baby sit in our room, 15 an hour was so worth it to enjoy a meal or drinks out In the town. The swimming pools were gorgeous & the entertainment fun. The whole place is ran fantastically, Leah the Operations manager works tirelessly to keep everyone happy, she was great! Water sports: All most included and right outside the hotel, a great perk. I finally got to try paddle boarding and I loved it! Beach: the beach isnt the best, quite Rocky and doesnt look crystal clear due to the rocks underneath, but the water is clear and very warm, take beach shoes to enter the sea! Food: Buffett Service due to COVID, the staff in the restaurant work so hard, they are also so friendly! Food was great, could not complain at all. Beach bar: we really appreciated they didnt take advantage of their fairly remote location with high pricing. I really respected this. Hats off to Mark Warner, 1 for a large bottle of water, 4 for a large beer, 3 for a can of coke and happy hour each day 6-7pm. Very good, even offered baguettes for 4 if you didnt want to sit down at the taverna for lunch. Reception staff so friendly and helpful, cleaners do a great job daily, all staff in fact, you just couldnt fault. After a hard year, 2 weeks here worked so perfectly for us with a 18 month old. A really super holiday with zero complaints!

  week with mark warner paleros

  we booked a late week at pales resort . Excellent facilities , rooms were immaculate , food both at breakfast and dinner excellent . staff all very helpful and friendly . excellent pools . the waterspouts were excellent , used the bikes and they were also really good .

  The week did not disappoint

  We had a wonderful week in September 2019 followed by another equally wonderful week at the end of this September. It was such a balm to be out of the UK, away from all the dire news, and to just reconnect with normal life again. The resort is tip top; rooms large and comfortable, super buffets served a little differently this year by hard working local staff, wide choice of water sports run by a great team headed by Jamie, (for once I did not need to use the services of the safety boat), lots of cycle rides and tennis. Of course, the main pool is also very stylish for those who just want to relax. The village of Paleros is close-by and very authentically Greek. Thanks to Natasha and all her team. Roll on September 2021 for another return visit.
