  relax

  Una villa restaurada con todo tipo de detalles. Las habitaciones poseen cocina, salon-comedor y una terraza con vistas a una tranquila plaza con una bonita iglesia barroca. Nos gusto mucho el desayuno, sobre la antigua cisterna, con la bolleria tipica de la zona. El personal es muy amable.

  nice, but no internet

  Palazzo Gambuzza is a very pretty, quaint establishment, in a great location, and provides breakfast service. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the big negative I have to take a star away for is because they advertise that there is internet, and I feel it is a bit disengenuous: there is internet, when one sits right at the front, in only a certain spot, by the front desk, or at one table where breakfast is served (which is nearest the door) and outside, at the open space between the breakfast area and front desk. We were in the room closest to the front desk, and our devices could (sporadically) connect, but that connection did not provide access to the internet. The site is an old palazzo, very nicely redone. The stone walls are thick; so, on the positive side, the walls are not very thin. However, I find it even more frustrating that internet access from the room is even mentioned, when we could never get it (unless in the aforementioned spaces). Internet access was one of the main reasons we decided on making the reservation. it becomes even more irritating when it really isn't available. other thab that, it is a nice setting. The shower was a little weak (in pressure) and paint was peeling on that wall right in the shower. It was very clean and the towels were big and thick.

  Pintoresque hotel

  We spent a lovely week in this Hotel-Palace. The hotel was beautiful both in the outside and the inside. Very typical big and comfortable rooms with great views. The owner was really lovely and she prepared delicious breakfast for yhe ten teachers that travelled to Ispica. I reccommend it to everybody who goes there.

  You feel at home

  We stayed for a whole week.Beautiful palace and excellent service. It was very clean and well looked after.The staff were really nice. The breakfast was fantastic, lovely homemade fruit salad, capuccino, cakes, fruit, cheeses, they had everything. We stayed at Mori apartment. It was a lovely apartment with big rooms a roof terrace two bathrooms. It is a good place to stay near the beach, and near beautiful places to visit such as the caves of Ispica, Noto, Modica, syracusa, ...

  Interesting experience

  This old palazzo has been turned into several apartments, which are pretty comfortable. Strangely, tho large, ours (Fiori) only had straight chairs, nothing really comfortable. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Really shouldnt deduct points for the fact that Ispica has nothing to recommend it. My own fault for not doing more homework. Stay in Modica!
