  Wow and Amazing

  This was most certainly the highlight of my visit to Bromberg and one that I will remember for a long time with great delight. Memorable and enchanting are two of the least effective adjective that I can think of to describe my experience. I will fondly remember my time in Bamberg and look forward to returning in the near futures

  A lovely location in the old Bamberg town

  This is a small boutique hotel located perfectly to explore the bomber breweries and medieval streets in UNESCO with of Bamberg. The rooms are spacious and clean as is the hotel. There is a nice open quadrangle garden to sit and enjoy a quiet drink or read a book. The bar closes quite early and the hotel guests have to enter with a key after 8pm in the evening as reception is closed. Car parking is available up the street in the hotel car park with a small loading area by the main hotel gates. The location is tricky to find and I abandoned my car and found the hotel on foot before driving into the narrow crowded streets. At first it looks like the area is 'pedestrian only' but as a guest you are free to carefully drive to the hotel. At night despite being close to busy bars and breweries we found it very quiet even with the windows open. There is no air conditioning but the hotel provided our room with a fan on request. The breakfast is very nice - good choices of food served buffet style in a splendid old restaurant dining room.

  Anniversary Stay

  Great location (central, quite, safe) very romantic and unique setting. Spent our 10th here and had our best anniversary yet! Lots of dining, shopping and stroll options close by. Breakfast was perfect. Will definitely come back!

  Lacking amenities

  Do not expect to park and unload your luggage. Narrow streets do not provide any parking. The hotel is not like the photos. Room is nice but no coffee or tea maker. I went to the lobby at 1845 and doors were locked. Could not get anything to drink...beer or coffee. Bed is so so. Rather disappointed as I booked for my husbands birthday. Town is lovely. Location good. But try elsewhere for better amenities.

  Beautiful old Palais in middle of the center. Great location, very friendly reception. Rooms are good but bed is to low and to hard. Was not really sleeping well but assume they have different option. My room was quiet dark and WIFI and 4G not very efficient. Very good breakfast but missed the Laugengebäck.....all night n all good place to stay, I can recommend it.
