  Beautiful tranquil location

  We spent the last three days of our stay in Pai at PaiCome Hideaway where we celebrated our wedding anniversary and a friend's birthday. It was perfect to celebrate these occasions. The resort is in a beautiful and peaceful location about a 10 minute drive from the town centre. The huts are beautifully appointed and very clean. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Chin was an excellent host. There is a shuttle service from the resort to Pai town at 6pm and pick up at 9pm. Chin was kind enough to drop us into town earlier in the day when he was out doing pick ups. On the eve of our wedding I anniversary he supplied us, and some of the guests, with the most beautiful Chinese lanterns. We were very touched by Chin's thoughtfulness. We would definitely come back to this magical place again

  Beautiful Place

  This is a beautiful quit resort in the middle of the nature. Mr. Chinn is a perfect nice host. You will find no better place in Pai like PaiCome HideAway Resort. The rooms are perfect with a nice view.

  Beautiful location, the ultimate Thai escape!

  We stayed here with Mr Chinn as our host over New Year 2016/17 Our 5 night stay was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Thailand - and the most luxurious. Having spent 2 weeks backpacking we wanted to treat ourselves to some luxury, away from the hustle and bustle, and PaiCome Hideaway was the perfect place. Our villa was huge with a very large bathroom including shower and separate bath. The bed was the biggest i've ever seen and our towels were made into elephant shapes when we arrived (I love a bit of towel origami!) The pool is beautiful with natural form rocks within - an excellent place to read and tan with your feet dipped in the cool water. The grounds at PaiCome Hideaway are stunning - lush and green with so many different plants, trees and flowers - paradise! Our stay included breakfast which was buffet style in an outdoor (covered) veranda and there was enough choice to keep both myself and my husband happy for 5 days. We didn't eat any other meals here as we had a motorbike and sent our days exploring the area and our evenings in Pai but we did experience enough of Mr Chinn's hospitality to say he is an excellent host who is attentive and genuinely cares about his guests - his aim is to make your stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We've been to Thailand 4 times and travelled all over and this is one of the best places we've had the pleasure of staying - thai hospitality at it's best! We can't wait to return on our next trip to Thailand!

  Good points: The room was beautiful. Clean and throughly cleaned everyday. The towels were large and the hand and face towels also lovely. A big bathtub in a modern yet authentic Thai design. Grey walls with beautiful orbate decoration really made the place pop. There was a kettle. Cupboard. Fridge glasses and mugs. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The duvet was great for the cool nights of Pai or with the aircon on. The pool looked like a lake and the little garden area was very pretty. There is a table outside under an awning which is great to have outdoor brekki under. The lounge area is large and there is a huge garden to play in and do yoga etc. The manager was a doll. He helped us with a hitch-hiking letter. And drove us to the road we needed to be on to hitch to Chiang Mai. The staff were attentive. The ammenities at the guesthouse wwre great. Good lamps. Sockets. Wardrobe. Bathtowels slippers. Good good good. Negative point!: There was beer in the fridge and we thought it was free as there was not a price list.. so a shock when we had to pay for it. Wasnt too expensive just felt a little cheated.

  Nice room, very let down by facilities!

  As a solo traveller usually staying in hostels, I *treated* myself to a 'Superior Double Room' at Pai Come Hideaway resort. I was VERY disappointed with my stay to say the least. The room was very nice but most facilities that were advertised on the hotel listing were not available whilst I was there. It says there is an onsite restaurant serving a range of foods but Mr. Chinn advised me that it had closed the day before due to it being low season. There wasn't even snacks I could buy, he didn't even stock the fridge with minibar items as he normally would. My plan was to relax by the pool for 2 days before staying in the centre of Pai and just buy food at the onsite restaurant when I was hungry (I didn't mind that it was far away because I planned to relax). But there was absolutely nothing within walking distance, no shops, no food, the only place to get food was in Pai which was a 3km away. He advised me the only way to get around was by scooter, but this wasn't an option for me as I had a scooter accident a few weeks previous. He said he could take me down to the centre but it would cost me 200baht each way (no free shuttle!). I paid for this at 8pm for him to take me down then he said that the latest he could pick me up was 10pm, but I had no choice with no taxi options in Pai, was like being picked up by a parent! So paid this as there was no other choice but to starve! I tried to go in the pool the following day but it felt too dirty to even stay in, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in about 2 weeks, lots of algae & dirt floating around. I confronted Mr. Chinn and asked why his listing says there is a restaurant available when it's not open, and his reasoning was that 'I booked a budget room'... not sure how 'Superior' is budget? I paid much more than I normally would and it was a waste of money, breakfast wasn't even optional like it said in the listing.. no food was! Fake advertising, if the facilities aren't open in low season then he should have made this clear before I arrived. Had to pay another 200 baht at the end for him to take me back into the centre, wasn't happy. Wouldn't stay again.
