  Beautiful country side

  Came over to this hotel by a tour we had in North Thailand. We were the only visitors of the hotel as tour was a bit off season. Hotel seems to be new and staff is servicing it all time. It is located in the middle of North Thailand Pai country side and is full with the silence and beauit of the area. Good for one that come for relax. Food was basic, yet very good

  Superb, honest and splendid

  I arrived to Pai and initially stayed at one of the more famous popular venue I'd been recommended by an old friend, I say old friend cos the standards must have slipped. Tara pai is exquisite, cheap, clean in an amazing setting offering beautiful gardens and a bit more than I expected. Very friendly service and very close to the town but just far away enough to feel like I was out of the tourist hub of and otherwise incredible town. Great beds, good clean bathrooms, genuine warm and hospitality from the staff whom were incredibly helpful and offered more than was necessary. I will definitely be going back

  Nice but builders hammering

  Stayed in an ac bungalow for 3 nights, not bad room in a rural location externally appears nice. I'd say its a bit far without bike, and baggage after 24 hrs travelling. Taxi services where practically non-existent in town, so did the trek. Hotel advertised free shuttle but nothing available when we needed a lift after stay had finished, maybe organising with a bit more notice gets this sorted. In our room had dead ants under sinks which hadn't been cleared away. And restaurant closed all a bit annoying, however we made the walk into town to solve our dinner needs. Although location is calming builders ruined it. Guy on reception didn't know much and restaurant not opened when advertised and didn't know much about free shuttle times. Other staff may be more helpful. This place has potential but I'd say skip it until they improve or finish building, so many alternative places nearby. Friendly warnings about the resort having numerous names aka backpackers paradise. Normally I'm suspicious of this but I'd check reviews building may mean new management making changes.

  Are you ready for the trip of a lifetime??

  This place is groovy, fun and mellow environment. I was supposed to only spend 3 days in Pai and ended up there for 2 weeks. It is a magical and mystical place. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, all the staff are always smiling and a great energy. This getaway is close to town (3 minutes on scooter) and they have a shuttle running every hour until late. This is also the closest place to stay if you plan on staying out late because the last bar that closes in town is right around the corner. Plan your day accordingly: eat a good balanced breakfast, go for a hike, lounge by the pool, occupy yourself for a few hours. By the afternoon head back to paradise bar (on site) get a shake and enjoy the ride :D
