Totalmente recomendado.

What a diveThis place is pathetic. I was passing through Santa Cruz and tried to book for the night. I booked 2 nights in advance in error. They were fully bookeed for the night I was there and refused to refund my money. I was there within 5 minutes of booking the room. The stupid woman told me to ring Wotif to ask for a refund, Wotif told me that she said no refunds available. We had a similar issue due to the fires near Santa Clarita. We used booking.com with Residence Inn and there was no problem getting our money back. I'll never use Wotif again and I think this hotel is dishonest to say the least.

Jewel in Santa CruzOnly 9 units at quiet location close to shopping, restaurants etc. Can walk to boardwalk from hotel. Rooms are modern, LED certified, homemade baked goods in afternoon and good continental breakfast, Will definitely stay again ! .

Friendly, welcoming, super helpful staffWe spent 4 nights at Pacific Blue in early June 2020. Because of Covid we were unable to enjoy the breakfast and snacks the inn usually provides. Nonetheless we had a wonderful experience and will return in more sanguine times. First, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, from booking to departure. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely quiet. We made use of the full kitchen that's available to guests, as well as the two quite decent bicycles (if you have time and ability, there's a lovely and peaceful Riverwalk along the San Jacinto that you can access 1/4 mi. from the hotel). The quiet courtyard is another great amenity, complete with 2 gas fire pits. And if you're staying in Santa Cruz for a few days, you'll find the location perfect for accessing most anything you might want to do without having to get in the car. Well done, Calvin and company!

The place to stay while in Santa CruzI know that I have said it before, but we really have to stay here more than 1 night. We usually stop off in Santa Cruz to see some music but on our last trip, now that we discovered some other gems, we will plan for an extended trip in the area. This will work out good as the Pacific Blue Inn is so comfortable to stay in and we would love to stay longer. You are probably tired of driving by now. You can just leave your car in the parking lot just down the street from the inn (free). Centrally located within walking distance of shops, restaurants, jazz center, pier/boardwalk and steamer lane (a little over a mile), there is plenty to enjoy around the inn. You can feel good about your choice to stay here as the hotel embraces eco friendly thoughts. Recycled and reused are more than just buzzwords here. Coming off the street into the inn, you feel the difference immediately. The entrance looks very low key so you may drive by it once or twice. The inn is located in a very quiet area. The inn is small - 9 rooms. The rooms are unique and have private baths and electric fireplace (and air conditioning - it does get warm in the summer). The room was very clean and comfortable and we slept well. We stayed on the upper floor - stairs and elevator available. There is a little (small) patio outside the room w/ a table and chairs and a larger courtyard area on the first floor with fire rings for when it gets cooler at night (good for a nice glass of wine). There is no restaurant on site but many close by. There is water to drink (hot and cold) as well as cookies in the lobby that you can help yourself to (access to the lobby is 24 hours). They serve a free continental breakfast each morning. We grabbed some fruit as this was the only vegan choice (they did have almond milk) and were ready to start our day. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist with questions about the area. The price is reasonable for what you get. Once you come here, I think that you too will want to come back. So much to enjoy here!
