  Precioso resort a muy buen precio

  Este ligar superó nuestras expectativas. Sin ser lo más barato de Tailandia, si lo és de Sanghkaburi. A pesar de ello, la belleza de un lugar de madera, con unas fantasticas vistas al lago, y un servicio simpático, atento y servicial, hacen de P guesthouse la mejor opción de Sanghkaburi.

  Good sight seeing, Cheap price, Delicious food, fun activities and friendly staffs

  i book a room facing the lake, morning sunlight was the best. My favourite drink was watermelon juice. There was plenty of activities to do. I did canoeing and rafting. Room price was relatively cheap compare to their excellent services. Totally worth it!

  Excellent stay - wonderful manager

  Well the only way to book this place is to phone ahead, it all worked out. Large number of rooms spread either side of a stone staircase. We were lucky enough to have room 7 which, as others have said has the best views in the house. Oooo what views over this enormous reservoir. There are more basic rooms but this one has air con and just £25 a night. Good choice of breakfast, excellent lunch / evening menu and endless supplies of beer if thats your thing. This is slightly out of town 5/10 mins walk but who cares. We arrived on the eve of Loy Kathrong, when there are local (and very noisy) boat races on the lake. Good fun watching though and the locals are very vocal about it all. The manager is kindness personified, even giving us offerings to float for Loy Kathrong and enabling us to join the celebrations with his family. He can arrange anything including a boat trip from the pier, just ask away. We stayed two nights and second night the manager hosted a meal for a crowd of children and some adults..... we quickly gathered something special was going on and enquired. It turned out the children were all from a VERY special local project which provides education and skills for the local Mon children, orphans and those that cannot get into state schools (most Mon children cant as theyre stateless) Children of the Forest, have had innumerable successes with the children they have worked with, including three going to university.   great location - poor service

  We just came for the restaurant, and the lady didn't even smile - very un-Thai behaviour. The food was nothing special, the fruit shakes were good. The guesthouse has a great location overlooking the lake, renting canoes etc. And, I guess you can go for a swim from the pier.

  My friend booked this guest house in Sangkhlaburi. We rented a scooter from the guest house. It has a scenic location just on the bank of a big river. There are boats leaving from there to go to the lost temples. It had a bar, very nice corner to sit. The toilet and bathroom was shared. I had difficulty to use the toilet. It was elevated from the ground and no toilet seat. (You can google it, old thai toilet) Well it was not easy to use unless you are a gymnast I think. But it was clean. The room was very comfortable. I had a balcony with the view of the river. Don't try to bargain over the price, it's already good and not expensive. I enjoyed the comfort of my stay.
