  little expensive

  i have spent 4 nights with my indian daughter in october 2016 room clean but no hot water and their dog really crazy and scream by night otherwise food good but all time same thing to eat good situation owner really helpful just expensive for india and for prestation

  Location of this guesthouse is superb..i

  Location is superb-near station..also close to shahid nagar ...lots of fooding options the owners are such good people..u feel like you are in your own home... also their home made food is good...transportation is available round the clock..they go out of their way to help you as much as possible

  Relax, enjoy and feel at home in Bhubaneswar

  While exploring the marvelous temple city of Bhubaneswar and the Odisha region we found this comfortable homestay. The owners where so kind to help us out when we searched for a new place for the night after a bad experience in another hotel. Thank you again for the quick and accurate help!! It's only then a traveller knows to appreciate the comfort of a homestay and the warm welcoming couple (....and the dog with the tikka Alex). We had a good room with insuite bathroom in the front of the building who was spaclous and calm. We could choose between indian or continental breakfast and also curd with fruits was provided on our demand. It's also possible to have dinner. Just give the couple a sign before. Dear owners, you both can be proud on this realisation! Also a special reward for the cleaning and kitchen staff who where extremely helpfull for us as guests.Hope to pass by again, Johan & Karien - Belgium.

  Homely and excellent stay.

  My wife, along with her parents have visited there between 21st and 24th May and they have stayed at room no. 203. They all have reported an excellent stay at the place. a very hygienic and tasty food were served, very courteous reception by the owners of the property and the best part is that they have a excellent well mannered staff. She have told me that - every time we may have an opportunity to visit Bhubaneswar in future- will definitely stay at this place. And she recommends the place for her friends and colleagues. The proximity of the railway station (only about 4mins in auto rickshaw) is an added advantage. The owners usually take the booking over phone/WhatsApp, and acknowledges promptly.

  Not suitable for families! You do not get what you see!

  We called then on 7.02.19 to remind them that we'll be arriving on 8.02.19 We preferred calling them a day before our arrival because we were traveling with an infant and an elderly (our mother). The property owner said he'll keep the room ready on time. We reached the property around 1.30 pm on 8th. Shockingly they tried to check in us into a neighbouring hotel which was extremely dirty, smelly, and of course wasn't suitable for a family to stay. When we objected, they said that they didn't receive our MMT reservation and that's why all their rooms are occupied. We were in complete disbelief because when a day before our arrival we had called to confirm, they had positively responded. It took us around 2 hrs to convince them that we won't stay in any random hotel. By that time my baby was crying out of hunger, my mother who is a high bp and diebetes patient, was hungry and dizzy. Finally they made arrangements for our stay in panthanivas(otdc hotel) in an extremely small and uncomfortable room. The only reasons we argreed to stay there was safety and our baby was badly crying. Due to Odisha homestay's owner's mistake our complete day had wasted. We were exhausted and had to stay in the otdc hotel. The next day we were woken up by 6:30am and were instructed to check out by 8am. We could not believe ourselves booking odisha homestay in the very first place! Our baby was tired, crancky, sleepy but we had to leave. We reached odisha homestay since they said that they can let us stay for a few hours. The lady gave us a room which was completely damp and was badly sticking. Their room was completely damaged but our baby and mother needed rest so we stayed there till 4pm. We paid them for those extra hours and also for our food. But the lady parented that they were doing a favor. Because of them our trip was wated. Our time, effort, money everything wasted because of their carelessness or rather greed. They thought they'll make us stay in a dingy hotel and we would agree. So if anyone is traveling with their family then please do not even consider booking this homestay. You might read good reviews on the internet but I really doubt that all of them are authentic.
