  Amazing staff

  Came down to work a few weeks at the CF plant next door and stayin with Red Roof. Very impressed with the service and rooms. Front desk suggested some good places to eat around town. Will be staying here again when I come back in January!

  Misleading

  First off, its not a Red Roof Inn, its Oyo or something. Second, the pictures are VERY misleading, the rooms are very run down and dingy, not at all whats in the pictures. There was a musty smell with hints of tabaco throughout the whole place. It was damp in the room and the bed was not clean, I looked under the sheets. The carpets were filthy. There were random people running in to get food and drinks from the closed kitchen area at 1 am and leaving. Its exactly how the couple from an earlier review who was refunded their money described it. I also left, but unfortunately was not refunded my money. I left anyway.

  Under Renovation

  This hotel is being renovated so you are getting yourself into a construction zone. It used to be the old Red Roof Inn. The outside of the building has been repainted. There is a temporary lull in the renovation inside because there has been a delay in materials. From what I was told, full renovation should be complete by the end of Winter. Currently, the west side on both floors are being renovated. When this is done, the procedure will be done to the rooms on the east side. The hallway was very nice and clean. The room that I got for two nights was nice overall even though a good portion of the furniture needs to be replaced, which will be done during renovation. There is an elevator. The wifi signal was quite strong and there was a large flat screen television. There was a guest laundry. You need to get to the breakfast room early because some items might be gone before7 am because they start serving around 4:30 am because of contractors. All of the staff that I encountered were super friendly. A lot better than what I encountered at the OYO Hotel Denham Springs, LA east of Baton Rouge. There is a Sonics and a gas station with a Subway within walking distance. Several miles to the west in Donaldsonville is a McDonalds.

  THE WORST EVER!!

  This place is a dump! We reserved two rooms for one night while visiting Oak Alley Plantation. One room was okay but dirty. The second was already occupied! The desk gave us another room and the air conditioner made so much noise it sounded like a big truck running through the room! The third room was okay, but not a king like we ordered. The continental breakfast consisted of coffee and one kind of dry cereal, but no milk. I would never stay here again for any reason!!

  The visit

  Well the black girl works 3-10 doesnt give me good vibes and she always got something so say and the management here sucks and how do you hire ppl without checking backgrounds that crazy and now Im paying to stay here and getting no respect
