  visit to salem to attend marriage function

  room service is not good. desk ppl are too strict. though they are charging very high, bathroom doesnot have dustbin tissue rolls. grace time for vacatiing also less.their mess is literally not providing anything. it is at centre. attractive building. good location. ill not prefer to back again

  Good hotel for a day or two

  It's been a good experience with this property, but the rooms are lacking from latest amenities. The rooms have balcony but cramped space within the room. The communication is a problem with the ground staff, as they can't communicate other than Tamil. The food is really costly

  Disappointing !! Regret the choice we made

  We stayed in Salem Castle just for a night last week and it was truly disappointing! Only positive: Location of the hotel. 1. Pathetic room service - Very slow and orders for food not taken properly. 2. No tissues, dustbin in the bathroom. Taps were leaking and malfunctioning. 3. Bed linen was not fresh - looked dirty / and old. Additional bed was really dirty. Housekeeping not good. 4. Broken coffee pots and flasks. 5. Dusty ac ducts was an additional bother. We switched off the ac for a peaceful sleep 6. NOT WORTH THE MONEY THE CHARGE !! Overall the stay was pathetic. The staff certainly need some training. Will not prefer to choose this hotel again :-(

  Plus Neat room, quick housekeeping service, helpful front desk staff Needs Improvement Apart from the lobby there has been nothing much that has bren renovated.. The bathrooms are really ancient, with health faucets not working properly. Doesnt have 24 hr running hot water. If they renovate bathrooms then the place will present much better value for money

  What a splendid hotel

  I happened to reach Salem with my family. I was told to stay at Salem Castle. Though it took some time to reach the hotel (bridge works, traffic diverted). We were really tired and the Front office gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were neat and tidy. It had all the amenities required. The complimentary breakfast was yummy. Room service was excellent. The best North Indian food I had recently. I would say we had a wonderful time. Yes true as the name suggests it's a CASTLE OF HOSPITALITY.
