    Nice enough but weird.

This hotel was nice enough, but it was also a little weird. I think it either is or was a love motel at some point. One of the reasons we booked here was that the booking site we used said it had just opened in April 2016, so we thought everything would be new. That was not the case, the furniture was clearly not new and had plenty of dings, scratches, burn marks, etc. The sign out front said "renewal" so I am assuming this was more of an opening after a change of management or a partial remodel or something, but I don't know for sure. The room itself was fine, had enough space and a seating area with a few chairs and a table. The room could have used a little more storage. The room did have something I have never seen before - some sort of UV sanitizer for the coffee cups. The location was fine - lots of things were within walking distance. The wi-fi, hot water, and a/c worked great. The room was mostly clean, but lacked in some detailed cleaning. For example, the mirrors and the plane of glass in the bathroom door had smudges, fingerprints, splatters, etc. and clearly hadn't been cleaned before we checked in. The phone also had something splattered all over it. The booking site said there was daily housekeeping but that wasn't the case. We stayed there four nights and the first day the room was not cleaned at all. The next day the room was cleaned. The day after that the room was partially cleaned - what does that mean - it means they emptied the trash, left the trash can out of place in front of the bathroom, gave us new towels and threw our used towels on the floor and left them there. The bed wasn't made, etc. Not sure what to make of that. The room also seemed to be designed by somebody who had never stayed in a hotel before. For whatever reason we only got one large bath towel even though there were two of us. At least we got four hand towels. Another issue (which is made worse by the inconsistent housekeeping) was that there were absolutely no towel racks or hooks at all anywhere in the bathroom. That meant there was absolutely nowhere to hang our towels, clothes, etc. and we weren't sure what to do with our wet towels after showering. It was not convenient at all. Finally, why did I think it was a love motel? Well the big mirror over the bed (with gross-looking stains on it) was a pretty good clue. Combine that with the almost clear pane of glass in the bathroom door and the key drop in the elevator and it certainly points in that direction. I think the worst thing about the place was just the overall vibe. While the guy checking us in was nice enough, staff never acknowledged you when coming or going. When I tried to ask if they had a map of the area the guy at the front desk couldn't understand what I was asking, which also led me to believe this really wasn't meant to be a tourist hotel. Overall the room was actually OK and we were comfortable staying there, but the place just seemed a little weird and I didn't like the vibe.

    Nice and clean

I spent two night at OST hotel. It is 10 minutes walk and 5 minutes drive from the train station (you can take a train for 30 minutes to Gapyeong station- where there is a shuttle bus that takes you to all attractions around). It was a bit difficult to communicate when part of the staff is not speaking English. The Room was clean and quiet and was enough for my needs. Would recommend for a short stay

    Small hotel but clean

This hotel is about 900m from Chuncheon Station and about 2.8km to Gonjicheon Park where I had to go for Chuncheon Marathon. Within walking distance was the Chuncheon Myeongdong street with lots of food including the chicken dakgalbi. Our room was triple sharing the room was quite spacious with lots of room for luggages. There's heated flooring so it was quite comfortable to go back to during the fall season that we were there. The staff spoke some English but was friendly. We got free water, coffee and OJ every day. It is across a pub but it wasn't noisy.

    Good Stay

Clean hotel with spacious room and toilet. Close to the shopping street "Myeongdong" and the delicious Chuncheon Dakgalbi Street! Con: Got to climb a small hill when back from the bus stop and I dont know why they only provide 2 hanger and the toilet did not have any hanger for cloth and tower at all. Around 20min walk from Chuncheon subway
