  Great location, great value

  Very happy with the location, it was only a few minutes walk from the Nevsky Prospect which is a lot of fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but definitely value for money! Would definitely book here again.

  It is Good but different from pictures

  Good location, clean room But not comfortable bed, And you should know, don't pay cash to them, because they will decrease rooms cost from your account and they don't return your money. We book a twin bed room and we request top floor room but they give us a room on the other building ( not main hotel building) with double bed that we have to attach two bed together. It wasn't comfortable and cause backache. Also before we arrive to hotel the rooms cost decreases from my account but the reception said it will return and took cash. But until last day of residence it don't return to my account and they don't return cash and i discuss for more than 2 hours to understanding it.

  Super helpful friendly staff. Comfortable stay

  The reception staff, especially Olga and Lisa, were exceptional, and they always went out of their way to assist whenever they could. Our room (comfort double room) was clean and comfortable, and being on the ground floor, most convenient, as there is no lift in the building. Having a refrigerator in the room was good, although a tea/coffee tray in the room would be add to the comfort. The hotel is within walking distance to Nevsky and the nearest metro as well as many restaurants, and is convenient for Mikhailovsky Garden and Theatre. The breakfast could be improved on as not too much variety is offered.

  A grand experience of historic Sct. Petersburg

  OVM is a very interesting hotel with a cool history. It is located close to major tourist attractions, but it is quiet, almost hidden, and undemanding of attention. The inside is massive, spacious and elegant; it feels like you have travelled 100 years back in time. The staff is excellent, and I was given a guided tour of the upstairs museum rooms. Most guest rooms are down stairs; mine was a big and a bit dark with heavy furnitures, but I had an excellent sleep there. Staying at OVM is an adventure that made me live and feel a part of the city's history. I would gladly return.

  Great place to stay in St. Petersburg

  Lovely atmosphere - Friendly and helpful staff. Located within walking distance to the most interesting sights in St. Petersburg. Highly recommended and would definately stay again if back in the city!
