  Pintoresco hotel en la zona de Yarra Valley

  Aproximadamente a 2 horas en coche de Melbourne, existe una zona boscosa que corresponde al Yarra Ranges National Park, por la que discurre el rio Yarra. Paisaje natural de gran belleza con multitud de arboles majestuosos, generalmente eucaliptus y robles y con una abundancia de pájaros, en especial cockaburras y loros multicolores, asi como wombats y canguros. En el caso de invertir mas de un dia, el Osca's on the Yarra puede ser un lugar de parada. Hotel pintoresco, con un restaurante reputado, a pie del rio Yarra, con unas habitaciones amplias, camas cómodas y desayuno abundante, dispone de varias salas de descanso, con chimenea, que en invierno y primavera hacen del establecimiento unlugar agradable y confortable

  A real Find!

  This was one of the best surprises I've had in booking motels - an area I wouldn't normally have travelled to - let alone stayed but circumstances led me to Oscars and I'm very GLAD! This is a real oasis - run by a family who are very helpful and gracious. The carpark is central to the motel but they offered to help with the bags. The building itself if 1920's but has been beautifully kept and everything is fresh and clean. The room I had was small but functional for a short stay. It would have been more convenient to have a couple of accessible power points near the bed but I managed. Very comfortable bed and good dark curtains. TV was just the free to air but after a few glasses of wine - who cares! The restaurant is lovely with a deck overlooking the Yarra in full flow - with beautifully kept lawns and garden. The meals were also yummy and presented beautifully and the surprise was a free cooked breakfast! I would certainly recommend this place and after reading through the brochures on all the activities to check out - I will certainly be back.

  Must visit + Kookaburra on the Yarra

  In a late change to our Australian trip schedule we booked 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast in this wonderful hostellery on the Yarra ,(and at the rear of the property ). Where to start , the staff were all friendly, effective ,and professional, our room a slightly larger room 21 was just what we wanted .The first Saturday night was very full in the restaurant yet the service was good as were the meals and the excellent wines available- a joy. Do try the local Pinot Blanc is a recommendation. The breakfast was cooked to order along with a continental buffet , and on the second ( Monday Morning ) with just 2 couples at breakfast we were treated to a group of Kookaburra's called in from the land at back of the restaurant to the rail on the deck for a raw bacon buffet , from England ,as we were a delight to see This was a wonderful stay , plenty to see and do in the area thoroughly recommended if ever you want a stay in the Yarra valley ( 2 photos attached )

  Top Charm in Warburton for Couples and Families

  The property is positioned next to the Yarra River and offers excellent dining and accomodation. We were made to feel very welcome and our 20+ guests spread out across the property in private rooms, coming together for meals. This was a return visit for a milestone family event - two major birthdays. In the lead up to our stay Christine was incredibly helpful working with my husband on the menu for our private dining experience. She was able to meet the needs of meat, fish and vegetable lovers alike and everyone raved about their meals and the service. We stayed overnight and also enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a special visit from the local kookaburras. Highly recommended.

  Absolute class act beside Yarra River Last minute decision to stay at this outstanding resort and could not have been happier . Great staff, ambience and appointments of rooms and overall property worth the visit alone . Very much value for money when inclusion of top full breakfast factored in . We also dined at Oscars restaurant and could not have been happier with the meal and service . Wished we could have stayed longer and will be keen to return. Would highly recommend .
