    Unique, but not in a good way

    I agree with many of the comments posted here regarding size of rooms, lack of cleanliness and pillows etc (and for such small rooms, beds that nothing can be stored under), but what makes it unique is that of the hundreds of hotels I have stayed in it is the only one where the bed was not made. On enquiry I was told it was because of the package I had booked, however our friends in the next door room who had booked the same package with the same agent (but for one night less due to ongoing flight timings) found their bed had been made up. The excuse changed to for eco reasons, although towels had been changed without requesting them, new teeth cleaning kits had been put out - & yet making the bed with the current bedclothes is somehow going to help save the planet? Plus point, many of the staff tried hard to be helpful throughout our stay in spite of the strange management policies in place, and the location is quite convenient. However if I return to Osaka I will be looking elsewhere, although a solo traveller with minimal luggage for a 1 night stay might just get away with it.

    Great location

    Nice hotel with all amenities. They have laundry room, smoking room, coffee and drinks machines, ... very helpful staff. The rooms are tiny but it is normal for japon. The location is great and near the attractions. I would really recommend this place if u visit osaka.

    Too compact and typical japanese size of hotel;)

    Location of hotel was good. Very close to Dotonbori river, just 5 minutes walk to shopping areas and 10 minutes walk to Osaka Namba station. The size of the room was pathetic. Too small and no space to move around and no place for storage. But thats the standard style of Japanese mid range hotels space availability. So we accepted it.

    Very bad hotel service experience

    1/Not helpful! Do not offer help to maks local call to make restaurant reservations due to hotel policy, guests have to make local call by themselves even you can't speak Japanese, the hotel staff will not help you! (Also, hotel can charge you for making local calls in your room) 2/booked for non-smoking room but gave you a smoking room instead 3/No daily room cleaning service!!! (this is ridiculous and unacceptable!!) I booked through online travel agents and the hotel said we are in the 'Eco plan', so they only replace towels and empty trash bins..(but it did not mention 'Eco plan' at all in the check in voucher or in the booking details) We were not informed with such 'Eco plan' info when we checked in until we found out our bed was still untidied when back to the room! There are many more choices (better too) in the same area with affordable price, do not stay in this hotel unless you are looking for an unpleasant hotel experience. This hotel is way below usual Japanese service standard!!

    Very Good

    Clean room, Nice hotel location, just walk about 10 minutes to Glico sign. Easy to find food around the hotel . Good service, we left our room key at the door. They keep it and left memo in front of our room. And i have reservation with my dad's name and they still welcome us to check in. And last, They Have Good facilities, especially they have luggage scale. Thanks.
