  Perfect place to stay as a base for a Dolomite's tour

  Rooms are fantastic! Of course, we've only seen our room, but the picture on the web site corresponded exactly to what the room is like, thus you can trust them: wysiwyg for sure! The location is great as well, right in the heart of Cavalese. From here you can reach everything in town on foot: sights, activities, most restaurants, and more... Breakfast is very good, with local products and a good variety. Eggs options are being served on request so is lactose-free milk or soy-milk. We had dinner here once as well and the food was very good. It is a family run business and everybody in the house is extremely professional, helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the area. Some have commented that there aren't many parking spaces: on one side this is true for right in front of the door - where you can always park shortly for loading/unloading, however there are plenty of parking options scattered across town and a short walk would take you back to the hotel. The spa area is not very big but has all you need with different saunas and a whirlpool.

  Great hotel

  We stayed in their Suite, very spacious and comfortable beds. with a nice bathroom . The staff is very friendly, Daniela the owner goes out of her way to make us feel at home. Great location. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  Nice and expensive

  Overall it is a very good hotel, the room was modern e recently redone. Clean and fresh, the toilet need some shelves for beauty cases and toiletries. Restaurant area in need of a make up but the food was very good and the service provided by the waiter was excellent. Breakfast well done but not remarkable. Hotel is provided of a simple but cute spa to note only a funny smell from the jacuzzi when bubbles were activated. Price not affordable for all but acceptable for what is given.

  Skiing with clients

  Me and 204 clients and about 50 staff persons was at the March on hills. We stay in 6 different hotels and this was only one which was really European level. They have good food and completely Fine dining at dinner. Almost every hotel at the area try to looks like fine dining but it is really funny looking in Orso Grigio you can be sure you get what is worth of money. Restaurant food and wine price level is really well corrected I would say it eaven cheap compare to the service level. Rooms are wonderful, big and good organised. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location was brilliant and what for Europeans more important you can feel yourself comfortable in all situations, because every hotel have some strange, for I think many peoples, rules like food ordering day before, paying in one place and grabbing ordered in another and etc. Best part of hotel is staff and owner, they are simply BEST. After week in Italy about 12-15 different restaurants, restaurant of Orso Grigio is second best experience in Italy. I got wonderful time Thank You Orso!!!!

  Wonderful hotel

  This was a great hotel because; 1. Very modern and well appointed rooms with lovely comfortable beds. 2. Super helpful and friendly staff who advised about places to eat other than the hotel and areas of interest ( they recommended a lovely forest walk ). Also there was no issue in giving us access to our room before the official check in time. 3. Very nice breakfasts 4. The staff told us where to park for free 5. The hotel was in a great location. 6. Reasonably priced. We didnt ski, but if you did the lifts are very close. Cavalese is a lovely town, definitely worth a visit and this is a great place to stay at.
