  Charming, romantic and very quiet

  Strand: with sand and many km to walk. The hotel offers beach umbrellas with safe, wich I think is a great idea. When you are only two, you both can go swimm and do not have to worry about your belongings (mobil phone, purse,...). Room: decoration was not the strong point but the most important thing, the bed, was perfect. Buffet: high variety, high cuality, tradicional food and the service coudnt be nicer. Minibar: quite cheap prices. You dont need to buy water at the supermarket every day becarse the price of the minibar is the same like there. They also offer excursions with a reasonable price.

  My paradise

  Since 2010 I spend my holidays in Orpheas. What a beautiful location, kind staff, a garden who reaches to the beach. Good food also. Chania and Rethymno are easily reached by bus. From Chania Airport, connection by bus to Kavros. The bus stop is near by.

  My 10nd stay in this resort

  Since 2010, the first year I discover this hotel, it was like coming home! In 2016 and 2017, I spent 2 times for holiday. A charming resort, for adults only. The decoration is amazing. Every year we are surprised to see new things. The staff is my second family, most of them are the same people since my first time. The garden, an heaven. So quite, full of flowers and at the end: the blue sea!! PARADISE for sure

  Beautiful resort with a family atmosphere

  The resort has a beautiful garden, pools and the hotel itself is in a good condition. The rooms are kept simple but clean and the bathroom was new. The distance to the sandy beach is short, it is located next to the pool bar. Sunloungers as well as parasols are available for some euros. The hotel team is very friendly and attentive but never intrusive. The food at the buffet was very tasty with a wide range of different food. Every day show cooking has been peformed. The location is next to some supermarkets and the bus stop and just 4 km from Georgioupoli. The one and only criticism is that there´s less privacy on the balcony, due to insufficient visual protection.

  Wonderful hotel

  We arrived on the 1st September late at night as our flight was delayed by two and a half hours so we didnt arrive at the hotel till 10.30pm , I had planned to have a nice meal for my partner as it was his birthday and a cake that I had ordered as a surprise ,I emailed them to let them know we were delayed , they were absolutely amazing and very welcoming when we arrived and had set up a table with a lovely birthday cake for him ! we had a platter of cold meats and delicious soup and bread it was so nice after such a long day travelling and we were touched at how friendly the staff were and nothing was too much . We were then taken to our room which they had upgraded to a larger room over looking the garden which was so beautiful . In all the trip was fantastic the food was wonderful with a good selection, there was a good mix of salads cheeses meats and hot food the desserts were lovely, the bread was fresh and delicious , we always enjoyed the meals . The staff work very hard and never stop especially the irena the manager she was amazing and always made an effort to say hello all the staff did long hours but were always friendly and chatty Ive never stayed in a place with such lovely staff . The pools were nice though could have been a bit bigger though the beach is just 50 yard away so you can have a good swim . The room was just what we wanted with a balcony which was not very private that is the only negative thing I can say , the bed was the best we have slept in in a hotel is was so comfortable . The bath room has a bath with a shower which is just right for purpose . The maids come and clean daily and I will say they leave the rooms immaculately clean and they are also very friendly we didnt want to leave the whole atmosphere of the hotel is warm and friendly and we felt at home here . The only thing we would have liked is a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee but in all we had a fantastic time and will return one day , there are tavernas all around where we went for lunch and had a cheese and ham toastie and fries their omelettes are good too and all reasonable prices , posto di caffe is a must they have bands playing most nights and the atmosphere is amazing , also try palagias yard which is a family run taverna and cooks traditional Greek food the price is reasonable too . Thankyou everyone at the Orpheus resort we will definitely come back
