  Excellent

  Great Hotel, fantastic service, management and staff couldn't do enough to help, l took the grandchildren, it was perfect for them, small, personal and very friendly. With a 5 to 10 min walk to the sandy beach. Originally booked into Relax which is nearer to amenities, but so happy we were transferred to Orion Star, the climb up the steps well worth it.

  Lovely hotel

  We have just had our second nice vacation at Orion Star. The rooms are nice, big and clean and we had a great view over the sea.The staff is all great and we will love to come back again. Special thanks to George and Alex.

  Small and cozy hotel with extraordinary service

  This hotel's key is the staff in its little bar. Alex and his family are doing extraordinary work making tourists feel very welcome. The little bar had everything we asked for and even more! Less than 5 breakfasts, selection of lunch options and happy hour for drinks. Pool area was well-maintained and relaxing. The only downside is the rooms, those are very basic and bathrooms had a little mold. But, the view from the rooms' balconies was amazing. And, all in all, we're not on holiday to spend time inside the room anyway.

  Relaxing holiday

  This is a good and clean hotel. The cleaning ladies are very sweet and carefully in their job. The beds are surprisingly good. The service all over are impeccable. Quiet at night. The wifi could be better.

  Orion Star delight

  We stumbled across Orion Star on Booking.com after switching our holiday from Spain to Greece 3 weeks before our departure. They say your hotel is only as good as the employees who provide your services, with that in mind you can relax knowing you will be looked after during your stay. The hotel is clean, the rooms are well maintained cleaned daily with a team of superb cleaning ladies. A pool side bar with friendly staff cater for all your needs during the day serving Breakfast Lunch and dinner with a well deserved sundowner in the evenings. Prices at the poolside bar are reasonably cheap and they provide room service at no extra charge. Probably the most stunning part of our stay was watching the sunrise over Chania Town each morning. Although flights from Dublin to Chania are a little more expensive than flying to Spain the cost of our hotel room for 6 people was around 50% less than it's Spanish equivalent. All in all we were made feel most welcome in the Orin Star and wee hope to return in 2021.
