  Run Down and Smells Bad.

  We booked the Amore Suite few days ago and it was not a very pleasant experience. 1) This hotel is run down and looks quite dodgy. The cafe area has been closed down and boarded up with some wooden/plastic sheets. Only 3 dedicated parking spaces, the rest of us had to park beside some rough roads on an upward hill. No sheltered parking either. 2) Upon entering the room, it stinks of a stale cigarette smell. You can see the management has tried to mask the smell by providing an air purifier, few buckets of charcoal placed in corners and some room fresheners which didn't help much as the pillows and blankets smelt bad too. 3) There's a bathtub, which is nice, but the area around the bathtub was pretty dirty and not cleaned well. The shower holder was loose and the shower head kept falling which was frustrating. There were no separate shower and bath area either and they only used a curtain as a partition for the toilet. 4) Bath towels were not prepared when we checked in at 5.30pm. The reception mentioned that the laundry guy did not deliver their linen supply for the day and we had to wait till 6.15pm to get our bath towels. How can a hotel not have additional linen on hold is beyond my understanding. 5) There are no lifts in this hotel. Since we booked the Amore Suite which is on the 3rd floor, we had to climb tons of stairs to reach our room. Did not help that the stairs were narrow. Guests with heavy luggage will suffer. 6) The Amore suite is facing the main highway, which can be quite noisy at peak traffic hours. Sadly to say, I would not be coming back to this place nor will I recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Ok. So first thing you need to know about this place ...is that It doesn't have a lift. No 'dumb waiter' either. So if you have a big and heavy luggage, good luck. Or book the closest other boutique hotels around Mid valley. Second thing to expect is you can basically hear the ppl on the street even on their highest floor. Third thing to note is that probably 80% of the time you're going to be in a musky smelling room. (Like any other hotel room in the world that doesn't get a good vacuuming). Tip: the basket of charcoal in the corner of the bathroom doesn't help much with the humidity from the shower either. Overall, it is still a good budget hotel. Clean beds. Clean showers. Hot water. SPACIOUS bathroom. Cable TV. Catch up on some movies? Complimentary drinking water. Not sure about the wifi. Good for short stays. Friendly staff. Don't expect 5 star facilities in a 2 star building.

  Terrible experience

  Firstly the location was rather deserted. I arrived at night only to be locked out because they literally chained up the glass doors ( seriously if someone wants to rob or cause harm, they would have smashed the glass doors). No one was at the front desk. We waited for about 3-4 mins for someone to finally emerged from behind to let us in. The room gave me a sleazy feel as it was dark inside. However it was clean overall. In general, I was told that the whole area is unsafe( they even locked the 7- eleven) and we had to press a door bell for a guy to come out from the back of the store to open the door for us. It was obvious the cashier at 7 eleven was high on a substance. We didn't dare say a word but grab our stuff and went out, furthermore we were already traumatised and tired from the experience and information told to us that we were in the "very unsafe" zone because its very prone to robbery etc. First stay and never coming back again!

  Ok Hotel

  Hotel location is good. Approx 5-10 mins walk to mid valley mega mall. Hotel was very basic, however no complains it was really value for money. I recommend those who do not have much expectation to stay here.

  Below Average

  The room was not maintained at all. The lamp was flickering, the toilet's mirror was not cleaned and the toilet bowl was not flushed. The air-conditioner was blowing at my face as it was situated opposite the bed. The only good point is, the location is near Mid Valley Shopping Mall. In conclusion, first and last time staying here unless you are looking for budget place to stay.
