  The Tasmania of the Philippines

  Always spend a few days at the orchid to catch up with friends and enjoy the fantastic hospitality of Kev and his great team at the orchid. I especially love being there to enjoy the friendly atmosphere watching NRL at the sarang bar.

  There are better hotels

  Run down hotel which needs major improvement, shower area was awful ,old broken furniture But excellent staff friendly and helpful also girls in bar good fun always happy So would not return because of condition of room

  Not a bad place overall

  Checked in on Friday night at Orchid Inn. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower water pressure was very good and all necessary amenities in the room were available for purchase (cotton swab, razors, tooth paste, water, juice...). Bed was comfortable and TV worked well, with plenty of stations to chose from. AC worked very well and there was a ceiling fan above the bed in case of preference which was a little noisy however worked well. WIFI in room worked very well and overall the room was spacious and comfortable. There are mosquitos in the room, mostlikely due to the housekeeping staff leaving the door open when cleaning the room. I recommend perhaps a higher floor room to reduce the mosquitos when such cases occur. The staff and guards were very friendly and helpful. Complimentary parking is available. Location of the hotel was within a 3 mins walk to Walking Street where all the action is. Although I did not try the food at the hotel nor the pool at the hotel, it did look clean and inviting. There are a couple of areas to eat, although the primary area by the entrance looks too dark and uninviting, the secondary area is situated around the pool with a very nice atmosphere setting.

  Amazing Stay

  I've investigated a huge amount of articles about Philippines, which says that the spot is mind blowing and I permitted it to out. This country is reach in culture and has covered pearls. We stayed for two or three night times in Orchid Inn Resort and we were fulfilled by all the affiliation's effort in making our stay extra shocking. We esteem the pool confronting the straight such a not too bad view and loosening up in the meantime. Our room was all around lit and to an inconceivable degree satisfying, love it! In what breaking point may I restrict staying right now? We were exuberant and satisfied guests.

  Happy Holiday

  I stayed at the orchid for a month (February 2020) while the hotel may look dated the room was more than comfortable and spacious. All the facilities in the room were working and shower pressure was excellent. The chambermaid was very good changing sheets and towels daily. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bar staff were friendly and provided excellent service if you were seated by the pool and required drinks and or food. The bar menu provided a good mix of traditional Filipino food and other..All I can say is for all those travellers who posted negative reviews about this hotel either they were very unlucky with their booking or perhaps they are never satisfied? After all some people just love to whinge and complain.
