  Clean sheets but thats about it

  The rooms are spacious but dull and have a worn old appearance. Nothing has been redecorated since it was built. In fact the lift opens on floors that have never been completed. Even with the 40% discount it is still expensive for what you get. The sheets are clean the bed is rock hard as the other reviewer mentions. Food is acceptable. Location busy but not to noisy. Internet slow. The management indifferent to small requests.

  Ok for budgeted business travelers

  We were on business trip and were visiting ITMA Dhaka and for some reason our booking in Hyatt regency was cancelled as the Government of Bangladesh had vacated many hotels for the South Asian games' athletes. Our Booking got cancelled few days before our visit and this was the only available hotel that yatra.com could offer us. Anyway the hotel is right on the busy main road (VIP road I guess) not much of the hotel can seen from the road. There is hardly any reception or a lobby area. It is a basic hotel. Room was ok for 2 pax. Though the furniture and fixtures were fine but was slightly old fashioned. Bed was comfortable. There was an old Box TV. They did have wifi but was on chargeable basis. Bathroom was clean and dry. Our room didn't have a view as it was at the back of the hotel and faced a wall. They have a restaurant on the top floor. That's the best place of the hotel in case you want to meet your guests etc. The food was ok. We had breakfast and ordered dinner a couple of times that we stayed and the food taste was fine, no complaints. And they served us as late as 12:30 am in the night. I found the food slightly sweet in taste (Indian dishes like Dal/ Lentils, even the bread/ Nan etc.) However the general attitude of the staff in the hotel & the restaurant was slightly laid back. The attendants kept on delegating simple request (like a glass of water) to other restaurant attendants. The room service was slow. Since we were out right from early morning till late night for work during our 5 days stay, we didn't have to use as lot of the hotel's services else I think we may not have been very happy. Overall only good for business travelers for short trips.

  good , comfortable hotel , with a very good location near all whole sale market, a perfect location for business hotel as it takes minimum 30 minute sto travel one kilometer in dhaka, so location wise very good hotel. veg food is not that great as it should be. rooms are okay , bathroom are clean, staff very supportive

  Excellent staff and large rooms

  We stayed three nights here and were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. It was a little tired and worn but there was plenty of wardrobe space and room to spread out. Our mattress was a bit hard for us but we liked the fact that it was a king. The bathroom was great, with so much counter space to lay out our toiletries. That is rare. Wifi works in the rooms, with occasional fluctuations. The menu is extensive and the food good. The staff is superb. They can do anything for you. They sent someone on the holiday weekend to the boat terminal to make our reservations on the rocket boat. When we asked if they could add yogurt and fruit to breakfast they did. Although it would be nice to have more than one type of fruit given how plentiful the varieties are on the streets. We also did our laundry here for very reasonable rates. The service is overall is impeccable. We also enjoyed the location as we love to wander through the old town streets. We would definitely stay here again.

There was an old Box TV. free wifi Bathroom was clean and dry. room didn't have a view, restaurant on the top floor. That's the best place of the hotel in case you want to meet your guests etc. The food was ok. breakfast with minimum menu option, food taste was fine, no complaints. The room service was slow. Overall only good for business travelers for short trips if budget is the constraint
