Stayed in this hotel for 5 hours- and this was more than enough! This hotel is quite possibly one of the worst that I have ever seen, and I am not being dramatic. After enjoying 7 glorious days in Turkey, at the spotless and friendly Diana Suite hotel, my partner and I decided to book an excursion through our Thomas Cook rep because we had an early morning flight and we were told that after our day trip, which was the most boring trip I have ever been on, that we would be transported to a 3 star hotel with air con so that we could freshen up before our flight. When the coach pulled up the glass at the front of the hotel leading to the reception was smashed with a huge hole in it which gave me an initial grim feeling about the accomidation immediately. After not seeing one mosquito in our previous hotel this one was full of them, the room was full of dust, there was limescale and sludge all around the shower and the towels had stains and holes all over them! Quite simply, I left the hotel feeling more dirty than when I arrived becuae of how filthy and disgusting the room was! I sat in the lobby for 2hrs waiting for our coach to arrive simply because I could not bare to sit in the vile room any longer! In the lobby I met other tourists that had been on the same trip as us and every one of them felt the same, we all agreed that the rooms were unhygenic and dirty and that Thomas Cook had completeley sold us out! This hotel does not even deserve 2 stars let alone 3!!! That's an insult to my intelligence! Quite possibly one of the worst decisions that I have ever made on holiday and I will be writing a letter to Thomas Cook today with photographic evidence to ask for compensation for ruining the last day of my holiday when I would have been better off paying the extra to keep my room on!!! WARNING: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU ARE USED TO LIVING IN SQUALOUR!!!!!!

Most disappointing......I was so sceptical of the reviews about this complex prior to travelling, however me and my partner went out to the Beldibi resort with open minds. What can I say? These reviewers definitely did not hold anything back and were far from alarmist. Most of what has been said is actually true! We initially were going to book a 3* all-inclusive holiday in a neighbouring resort, but then came across this one with a 4* rating for not much more expense. What a big mistake! This establishment does not merit anything more than 2*.One absolutley fantastic setting with the Taurus mountains behind the hotel and straight access onto the beach, which I have to admit is a nightmare to walk on.The private one on complex next door was well maintained... With the hot weather at 40+ degrees for 2 weeks - what more could you want? We found the staff very friendly, courteous and hospitable. We were confined to a dark, foisty dungeon room as described by others previous guests, which would have been adequate, had the air-con been working efficiently.Needless to say we had the tiny window open every night. We were later informed we could have changed the room, but at what outlay though? The bathroom was shabby and in need of a revamp, the carpet looked as though it was the original laid in the room back in 2004 and Sat Tv was a waste of time, with one BBC channel that did not work at all the second week.Lucky for me I speak German (6 Channels),but my partner doesn't. Now for food and drink.I found the restaurant catered for the Russian/eastern European (90%) palate and the menus repetitive and far from inspiring.I stopped eating 3 days from the end of the holiday. Now I tried the spirits at the bar and without calling the establishment and being litigated I knew what I was drinking when I bought it from a local supermarket.Entertainment - forget the notion of getting involved in the animations (entertainment) actively as the DJ will only converse in Russian on the night. Yep.Not a place for the Brits and this place needs a re-think as they just seem to concentrate on the group I've mentioned. A broader spectrum on nationalities is needed here re food and general hospitality. We'd have been lost sometimes had it not been for my German as their English is very poor.I've tried to be positive about La Perla, but it's so damn hard. Still it's not stopped me looking for my second holiday in Turkey.

DO NOT STAY!!Please find the letter of complaint i sent as we were that unhappy! Please do not stay here!! Holiday Dates: 19th Oct 26th Oct On 28th October 2010 I returned from holiday at the above location of this letter. Please take this letter as a formal complaint, within the time frame as set out in our contract. During the holiday the following problems occurred: Accommodation On arriving at the hotel, which was early hours of the morning we were shown to our promo room by reception staff, on entering the room, which I except is a promo room, was in the basement and had two windows which opened into which I can only describe as a fan unit, I thought this was absolutely disgraceful, no fresh air or natural light could enter the room? We immediately asked for an upgrade as we were so appalled by the room which they kindly allowed us at an extra cost of £80. On waking in our new room in the morning all seemed fine, although the bathroom could of done with upgrading (pictures attached) and also found the minibar (advertised under there summary) was not actually a minibar but a tiny fridge with nothing in and only worked when the card was in the socket to turn the electric on?? Food Our first visit to the restaurant was for our lunch as we missed breakfast because we slept in due to being tired from the travelling. On entering the restaurant there was only a handful of things to choose from which were all mainly cold or luke warm and not much variety at all, the dessert options consisted of jelly with nuts in and a little bit of fruit, very disappointing for our first meal of the day. On going for out evening meal it was exactly the same, we made sure we got there on time so the food was still hot but no still cold or luck warm, desserts were exactly the same. I asked if there were any more options or any ice-cream etc to which I couldnt have a reply as the waiters did not speak very good English. In the advertisement for the hotel is stated good variety of food?? Also in the restaurant all the drinks selection was coffee or water, you had to wait for a waiter or ask the waiter for a drink? The restaurant was closed for our last three days, so we were served set meals at set times during the days, so if you didnt like what they were serving you it was tuff, I asked one evening if they had anything else as I didnt like fish and the answer was no? So I had soup for my evening meal (very filling). I asked reception about snacks which he told me was 4.30pm to which I went back at this time and he then told me 5.30pm, when the snacks did arrive it was a tray of doughy fried bread which was not eatable in our opinion. (picture attached) The advertisement stated snack/pool bar, this was all closed up. When getting a drink from the bar there was NEVER anyone there to serve we would wait for a few minutes until we would get sick of waiting and then ask at reception who he would ring someone that would appear another 5 mins later, this got very annoying and in the end started getting our own soft drinks from the supermarket in the day as not to waste 30mins a day trying to get a drink, which there was not much option anyway. There was a juice machine by the bar but this was taken away about 3 days into our holiday and even the water dispenser was removed as well, when asking for a drink on out last day they had nothing?? They finally found a bottle of juice which was not drinkable? In the evening there was no variety of drinks, vodka or pernod was our only options, I question, how is this all inclusive? (picture attached) I just can not believe the hotel is supposed to be an all inclusive 4*?? Pool The pool was not maintained throughout our whole stay, it was filthy and we did not go in it once, the baby pool had hardly any water in it, also a lot of ants around the pool (pictures attached). As for the indoor pool?? We did not see this once everytime we went there the door was locked and asked the reception a few times about this to which he replied only open when massage people are in?? WHAT? Surely they should have had a key? This was the same for the so called sauna and hot tub? Facilities which we thought we were paying for or had at our hotel could not be used. Entertainment Advertised entertainment and cinema?? Never seen this once either. The hotel was literally shutting down around us, like I said the last day they had nothing there to drink and we didnt even have sun loungers for the beach, we had to ask for two which they got back out for us. So by the end of our so called ALL INCLUSIVE holiday we couldnt even get a drink, they could have at least waited until all the guest were out (which were no more than 10 maximum all week). I feel this hotel should not have been sold to anyone, let alone English people, when they are shutting the hotel around you. If we knew this was the case we would have picked to go to a different hotel or different area. I hold low cost holidays responsible for the failures in this contract. I expect to receive an acknowledgment of this letter within 14 days. I then look forward to hearing your response within 28 days of the receipt of my letter as to how you intend to resolve our complaint.

dont go herestayed here in September 2010 and can honestly say its not for the british booked a promo room which at the time said it had a balcony but imagine our shock on waking on our first morning to find we were in a room with no window let alone a balcony . on complaining to the hotel manager he said promo rooms don't have a balcony but might have a small window wen I said we didn't even have that was told this was a standard promo room so to upgrade to a room with a balcony cost us an extra £2oo , the Russians at lunch times were like a pack of wild animals . the only good side to this hotel was the bar staff and cleaners were very friendly and helpful
